The July 20 episode of WWE RAW was in Detroit this week, and that meant Danhausen had a home-field advantage. He is from The D, and he decided to debut his new finisher, The Triple D, in that city.
Danhausen got involved in a match this week between Joe Hendry and Dominik Mysterio. He has been feuding with the Judgment Day recently, and that match was set up in an in-ring segment earlier in the night.
During the match, Danhausen was slapped by Liv Morgan when he tried to get involved. Then he went away, but he came back with IYO Sky riding along with him in his Hausenmobile.
IYO Sky attacked Liv Morgan because the two will collide at SummerSlam. Then Danhausen got in the ring and nailed Dominik Mysterio with a Triple D, the Danhausen Death Drop.
It should be noted that Danhausen, much like Sting, copyrighted his face paint. He also totally borrowed the Triple D from Sting, because it’s pretty much the same move as the Scorpion Death Drop.
Only time will tell what happens next with Danhausen. He may pop off his Triple D finisher for a long time to come. He is certainly riding a wave of momentum in WWE that hasn’t stopped yet.
