Toni Storm has undergone a major transformation in her character, moving from her previous Toni Time persona to The Timeless One. Her transition was smooth, and many fans have taken notice. Recently, she competed for the AEW Women’s World Title at AEW Collision Grand Slam Australia, and spoilers for that event have already surfaced.

During a Q&A session on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about the creative direction behind Toni Storm. Specifically, the discussion focused on who is responsible for writing her material. It was revealed that RJ City plays a significant role in crafting content for Timeless Toni Storm.

RJ City’s involvement with Toni Storm’s character aligns with his long-standing appreciation for cinema and comedic storytelling. He has been vocal about his love for classic entertainment, including The Golden Girls and vintage films. His background in both professional wrestling and old-school entertainment makes him a natural fit for developing Storm’s Timeless persona.

It was also noted in the report that Jen Pepperman is also responsible for writing much of the material for Mercedes Moné. She previously worked for WWE and was behind many of Sasha Banks’ storylines before leaving the company to work with Moné again in AEW.

Jen Pepperman’s background in television storytelling includes winning a Daytime Emmy Award in 2007 as part of the directing team for As the World Turns. This is one of the reasons why her WWE departure was such a shock for many.

We will have to see what Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone do next. They are still on top of any list for the most talented women on AEW’s roster, and Tony Khan is obviously going to keep giving her a focus as he surrounds them with gifted creative talent as well.
