Numerous stars and management personnel have made a shift from WWE to AEW, thanks to the rising success of the Tony Khan-led company. Former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is also expected to join AEW in the next few weeks, making her one of the biggest stars to follow the route.

However, one name that has aligned along with Sasha Banks on the same route is ex-senior writer and producer of WWE, Jennifer Pepperman. The latter announced her departure from the company after seven years of wonderful work a few days ago.

Since her departure, WWE has reportedly believed that Pepperman might head to AEW to become a personal writer for Mercedes Mone (f.k.a. Sasha Banks). A report from Dave Meltzer stated that Pepperman’s job could be very much similar to what Brian Gewirtz has been doing for Dwayne Johnson.

“When she quit last week, I was actually told by WWE that they expected that she would be in AEW very soon, because of her connection with Mercedes. As Mercedes’ personal writer like Brian Gewirtz is for Dwayne Johnson (The Rock).”

However, Pepperman has officially joined the company and is the Vice President of content for the company. The three-time Emmy Award Winning Writer is said to have made her decision to join AEW due to the rumored debut of Mercedes Mone. While her new role seems to be much bigger than just being involved as a writer for Mone, the latter’s rumored debut in AEW might benefit her in many ways.
