WWE debuted a new Intercontinental Title on Friday Night SmackDown this week. They seemed ready to go with this new title and are already selling replicas.
Cody Rhodes helped bring the IC Title belt design to WWE. One fan commented on the company changing the title’s design and speculated that WWE altered the title as a slight toward Cody. Then Cody Rhodes replied and shut that down in graceful fashion.
Unlikely. Probably just time for a change. All good things and such…
I’m sure this one will have great moments/wrestlers attached to it just like the older one.
We’ll have to see what kind of future the new IC Title has in WWE. There will be plenty of great memories, but it’s not likely that any of them will involve Cody Rhodes.
