Cody Rhodes became one of the mainstays of Monday Night RAW after returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have solid matches with Seth Rollins and elevated himself.
The American Nightmare was on a roll since his return, but has not been seen since Hell In A Cell due to a torn pectoral muscle. He underwent surgery for the same and will be out of action for a long time.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Cody Rhodes revealed that he is getting closer to making a WWE return. He then proceeded to joke about making a ‘stupid’ rushed return.
“They know I’m stupid, and I’d try to test it,” Rhodes told us, adding, “I got in my mind where I want to be, and I think a lot of fans have in their mind where I’d like to be, and that’s hopefully where it’s at.
They’ve treated me like the house that built me,” Rhodes said. “And honestly, it was amazing. “We were back, and everything was rolling so fast. And then I tore my pec.”
It was like the best three months of my life. Hopefully, get back to that soon.”
Cody Rhodes hinted at making his return during the Royal Rumble match next year. No definite time frame has been given for his return to the ring. We will have to wait and see whether he does return during the event.
