CM Punk is about to trade the wrestling ring for the hot seat.

Netflix announced on September 9, 2026, that Punk will appear on a special episode of “Hot Ones: Extra Heat,” with Sean Evans putting the WWE star through the show’s infamous Wings of Death.

The episode will air directly after the September 14 edition of Monday Night RAW, giving Punk a very different challenge once WWE goes off the air. Netflix made the announcement clear while revealing exactly when fans can watch.

“CM Punk will go head-to-head with the wings of death in a new episode Hot Ones: Extra Heat!”

The streaming giant also confirmed Sean Evans will host the special, which is scheduled to debut at 7 PM PT and 10 PM ET following the live episode of RAW.

“Sean Evans hosts this special episode, debuting directly after a LIVE episode of WWE Raw on Sept 14 at 7pm PT/10pm ET.”

Punk is no stranger to pressure, but sitting across from Sean Evans while working through increasingly brutal hot sauces is a completely different fight. Netflix has continued finding ways to blend WWE talent into programming outside the ring, and Punk getting his own “Hot Ones: Extra Heat” appearance gives fans another chance to see him in a setting far removed from wrestling. Now the only question is whether Punk can survive the Wings of Death without tapping out.

How do you think CM Punk will handle the “Hot Ones” challenge? Let us know in the comments.
