CM Punk’s coach Duke Roufus indicated on Instagram that the former WWE Superstar will be fighting again. He posted this photo of upcoming fights that lists his clients. CM Punk vs. TBA is one of the fights that he has listed.
Punk mentioned back in January during an interview with FOX Sports‘ Carrlyn Bathe that he’s back training and is ready to return for his next fight.
“I am working on it feverishly. I’m throwing names at Dana (White), opponents, dates. I don’t know if he’s waiting for a Chicago show or what the deal is but if it doesn’t happen in the UFC, it will happen somewhere else. I’m dedicated to fighting and training. We’ll get there.”
Punk hasn’t really been outspoken about his MMA career since he made those remarks. With his coach posting the list of upcoming bouts, this could be a solid indication that an announcement could be made very soon regarding his future.
