WWE’s new fan membership program is officially going live this Friday, giving fans access to exclusive merchandise, ticket perks, premium content and rewards just days before SummerSlam weekend gets underway in Minneapolis.

Club WWE launches July 31 in the United States with its Gold Membership priced at $99 per year, or $8.25 per month when broken down across the full year. Fans can already sign up, but the full slate of benefits will begin rolling out Friday.

The program puts ticketing, merchandise, videos, live chats and rewards under one roof. WWE also plans to expand Club WWE internationally, although no launch date has been announced for fans outside the United States.

John Cena is fronting the rollout and said the program is meant to keep WWE fans connected to the company throughout the entire year instead of only during major events. Cena said members will get access to exclusive content, early ticket opportunities and new ways to interact with other fans during WWE programming.

“As we continue to evolve the WWE fan experience, Club WWE creates a year-round destination that rewards our most passionate fans.”

“Whether it’s exclusive content, early access to tickets and merchandise, or connecting with the WWE Universe while watching our biggest events, Club WWE aims to be something additive to the fan experience across the world.”

The first fans who sign up as Founding Members will receive a limited welcome kit featuring a piece of match-used canvas, a personal note from Cena and additional items. Members will also get access to a private WWE Shop carrying the “Never Seen 17” collection, Superstar-exclusive releases and the Minneapolis Collection tied to SummerSlam.

Club WWE will also include early ticket access for select events, members-only lounges at certain WWE shows, classic matches, backstage footage, interviews and original programming. Fans can earn reward points by shopping, logging in, watching videos, joining live chats and playing games.

WWE is launching Club WWE at the perfect time, with SummerSlam taking over Minneapolis the following weekend. The company now has to prove that the exclusive access and rewards are strong enough to keep fans paying $99 every year.
