The highly anticipated pay-per-view of AEW Revolution 2024 kicked off with the TNT Championship match between Christian Cage and Daniel Garcia in a singles match. Before the match could kickoff, Garcia mocked Cage and lifted up the TNT title, taking a place in the champion’s head.
With Cage having his whole family ringside, Garcia had a huge task ahead of him. During the early moments of the match, both the champion and the challenger shared a few assaults with the 16000+ fans in the Greensboro Coliseum fired up wishing to see a new TNT Champion.
However, the champion’s mind games and amazing heel work was a turning point. Daddy Magic also made an appearance to take out Killswitch from the ringside. After a series of hard-hitting action, the closing moments of the battle saw Christian Cage deliver a kill switch to retain his AEW TNT Championship yet again.
With another big win to retain the TNT Championship, Christian Cage’s title run continues in a dominating fashion. However, it would be interesting to see what unfolds in the next few days for the champion.
