Chris Jericho has accomplished a lot in the world of professional wrestling, and he is undoubtedly loyal to AEW in the end. Therefore, he never fails to defend AEW whenever possible. Jericho did just that after Dynamite beat Smackdown in viewership last week.

The November 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite brought in an average of 845,000 viewers, with a .26 in the 18 to 49 demographic, which was a slight bump compared to the previous week’s show.

In comparison, the November 24th episode of WWE SmackDown drew 789,000 viewers, with a .24 in the 18 to 49 demographic, as the show was on FS1 for this episode. Therefore, Dynamite actually beat Smackdown in ratings last week.

Chris Jericho did not fail to notice this feat, as the former AEW World Champion took to Twitter and commented on a tweet about Dynamite beating Smackdown in viewership, as he clowned AEW haters in a big way.

‘But I thought the sky was falling!!?? @aew

In comparison, AEW Collision suffered a crushing defeat on the same night it went up against Survivor Series. Regardless, fans will continue to engage in tribalism and that is unlikely to end anytime soon.

What do you think of what Chris Jericho said? Do you feel AEW should finally stop talking about WWE and just focus on their own product? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
