JCW’s women’s division just got one hell of an endorsement from Choppa City, because Bruce Wayne isn’t merely saying the roster is good — he says it’s the best women’s lineup he’s ever seen from top to bottom.
During an appearance on Jasmin St. Claire’s Off the Rails, Bruce was asked where he sees JCW’s women’s division going. His answer was basically straight to the ceiling, and he revealed he’s even using the division as homework for the women he coaches at Rocky Mountain Pro. Bruce explained that he has his own wrestlers studying what JCW’s women are doing and rattled off several names he believes have helped make the division so strong.
“The roof. Okay. Like as we sit right now, um, I’m actually one of the coaches at Rocky Mountain Pro and I’m having our women, our women’s division watch the JCW women’s division just because, like you said, top to bottom, Big Al, J-Rod, uh, uh, Danny Mo, Haley Hood, Ann Mama, uh, Mickey Knuckles.”
St. Claire brought up Sonny Kiss, and Bruce immediately included Sonny in that praise. His point was that JCW doesn’t have a roster filled with people who simply look like wrestlers — he believes they can actually go once they get inside the ring.
“Yeah. Yeah. The women’s roster on JCW is stacked. Like, and like I, I, I include Sonny, I include Sonny Kiss too because like they, they’re, they’re all dogs, man. Like them girls can go.”
Bruce then explained the difference from a wrestler’s perspective. He said workers know pretty quickly whether somebody simply has the appearance or can actually hold their own when it’s time to work. Then came the biggest compliment of the whole conversation.
“We know the difference between somebody that looks the part but can’t really get the job done and versus just somebody that like you ain’t got to worry about nothing. Just go out there and fight them and you’ll have a good time and it’ll be entertaining.”
“I’ve never seen like a woman’s roster top to bottom as good as, as good as JCW’s. Hands down. Like I don’t know of another woman’s roster that good.”
There’s plenty of recent action backing up how heavily JCW has been leaning on that division. Ringside News covered Big Al winning the JCW Women’s Championship earlier this year, while Big Al and J-Rod’s issues exploded during Lunacy just one week earlier.
JCW also put the women front and center at Strangle-Mania, where Big Al teamed with Dani Mo against J-Rod and a mystery partner with Katie Forbes as special guest referee. More recently, JCW booked Dani Mo against Alice Crowley for the Women’s World Championship as part of Lunacy’s 100th episode.
Bruce Wayne isn’t throwing around some little compliment here. He’s coaching wrestlers elsewhere and literally telling them to study JCW, then flat-out saying he hasn’t seen another women’s roster that stacks up from top to bottom.
That’s a pretty loud endorsement for a division that keeps getting more chances to show what it can do, and Choppa City clearly thinks JCW has something special on its hands.
