Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona’s relationship began with a blind date arranged by two fellow wrestlers. Years later, they married in Las Vegas—and now they’re working together after spending much of their careers with different companies.
During an interview with PIX11 News, Green talked about being married to a fellow wrestler and how their paths first crossed. She said Cardona had been wrestling longer than she had when they were introduced.
“We were like ships passing in the night for most of our career. Matt’s been wrestling for much longer than me, and we were set up on a blind date by two wrestlers.”
Green and Cardona got engaged in 2019 and married in Las Vegas on December 31, 2021. On their first wedding anniversary, they joked about a publication that had predicted their relationship would not last—a moment Ringside News covered as the couple marked the occasion.
Green also said that she and Cardona had recently started working together after years with different companies. She acknowledged that sharing the wrestling business with her husband can be difficult.
