Chelsea Green was one of several Superstars released by WWE earlier in the year as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. Many fans felt she was not utilized well in WWE and wanted her to join a promotion where Green would be appreciated.
Chelsea Green made her return to Impact Wrestling during the promotion’s Slammiversary event. She was revealed to be Matt Cardona’s mystery partner as they faced off against Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood.
She won in the mixed tag team match with Matt Cardona much to the delight of fans. After her huge win, Chelsea Green took to Twitter and proclaimed that she is back home.

Chelsea Green isn’t actually under contract with Impact Wrestling but is expected to be working in the company for a longer time. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for her now that she is back.
