Chelsea Green is adding another project to her resume, and this one will take her straight into horror territory.

While speaking with Candace Cordelia of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Green revealed that she has secured a role in an upcoming horror film and will begin filming very soon. She made it clear that the movie won’t be holding back when it comes to the gore. Green explained that acting has become another creative outlet she wants to keep building alongside her wrestling career.

“I feel the same way about acting as I do about wrestling. I just want to get out there and do it and build a resume. But, I just got a role in a horror film. I film in a couple of weeks and it’s gory as hell.”

The timing of the role comes while Green is still sidelined from in-ring competition. She has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury back in February, which temporarily halted her momentum following her recent run in WWE.

This won’t be Green’s first step into acting either. Back in March, Deadline reported that she is also set to make a cameo appearance in the film Hate The Player: The Ben Johnson Story, signaling that her work outside the ring is continuing to expand.

With another project now lined up and filming set to begin soon, Green appears to be making the most of her time away from WWE competition while recovering from injury.

Do you think Chelsea Green could build a successful career in horror films while continuing her WWE run, or should she stay focused strictly on wrestling? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
