Garcia points out that Zelina Vega has said in the past that Mysterio inspired her to keep working when other people criticized her because of her size. Mysterio says it’s so nice to hear those kind of stories and he’s so proud of that. He takes great pride in being someone else’s motivation to keep going when things get tough.

Mysterio says he was happy to return to WWE at last year’s Royal Rumble when the opportunity presented itself. From the moment he left a few years ago he assumed it would be a temporary departure. He needed to take a break and rest, and he needed to be around his family for a while. He wanted to be a part of things that he missed during the years that he spent on the road with WWE.
He says it’s amazing to be back in WWE now and it’s cool to see a lot of new faces. He admits that he would not be able to wrestle the schedule he had a few years ago because his body is beaten down from years of work. When he goes through the curtain he gives everything he has because he doesn’t want to cheat his fans.
