Chad Gable’s time as the Original El Grande Americano came to an end at AAA Noche de Los Grandes.

After months of rivalry, Gable faced Ludwig Kaiser’s El Grande Americano in a violent Mask vs. Mask main event. The match featured chairs, tables, guitars, outside interference, and plenty of blood as both men fought to keep the mask and the El Grande Americano name. In the end, Kaiser connected with a running headbutt and scored the three-count, forcing Gable to unmask.

Following the loss, Gable addressed the crowd and admitted that he could not overcome the Mexican spirit. He then acknowledged that Kaiser was now the one true El Grande Americano before removing his mask in the middle of the ring.

A bloodied Gable revealed his face, introduced his family to the crowd, and spoke about his wrestling career before promising that he would return to AAA someday. He then handed his mask to Kaiser and walked away, bringing one of AAA’s biggest feuds of the year to a close.

What did you think of Chad Gable being forced to unmask at AAA Noche de Los Grandes? Do you want to see him return to AAA in the future? Let us know in the comments.
