The six-man tag team match featuring Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa against Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Royce Keys completely broke down before the night was over, with weapons, crowd fighting, an announce table getting destroyed and Jaida getting physically involved. But the biggest moment came right at the finish when Hayes suddenly appeared and helped 946 destroy all three members of the opposing team.
The match was chaotic almost from the opening bell. Jey went after Nima while Jimmy and Solo paired off with Price and Keys, and it did not take long for the fight to spill outside the ring. Solo threw a chair at Keys, Jey hit a suicide dive onto Nima and Jimmy followed with a corkscrew moonsault onto everyone at ringside.
Jimmy eventually became isolated as Nima, Price and Keys took turns wearing him down. Nima used the ropes to hit a curb stomp before sending Jimmy shoulder-first into the ring post, while Jey repeatedly found himself knocked off the apron whenever he tried to get involved.
Jimmy finally created an opening with a dragon whip, leading to a series of superkicks before he hit Nima with a spear. Solo then got the tag and started running through Keys with a Samoan drop, multiple hip attacks and a uranage.
That was when Jaida changed the entire complexion of the match. appeared to have control, Jaida pulled the referee out of the ring and sent him over the barricade into the crowd. With no referee around to maintain order, the match completely fell apart.
Jimmy, Jey, Nima and Price fought their way into the crowd as trash cans started coming into play. Jey climbed into the stands and launched himself with a crossbody onto Nima, Price and Jimmy, only for Jaida to climb onto the bleachers herself and hit a crossbody onto Jimmy and Jey. Carmelo Hayes just made one hell of a statement, and Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa were the ones left paying for it.
Meanwhile, Keys began clearing off the announce table and went after Solo. Keys attempted to put Solo through the table with a chokeslam, but Solo countered and drove him through it with a Samoan drop. Solo then sent Keys back into the ring, hit a frog splash and appeared ready to finish things with the Samoan Spike.
He never got the chance. Someone suddenly attacked Solo from behind with a tire iron. The attacker removed his bandana and revealed himself as Carmelo Hayes.
Hayes continued beating Solo with the weapon before Keys planted Solo with a spinebuster. Hayes then turned his attention to Jey, striking him with the crowbar and kicking him down before going after Jimmy as well.
Nima and Price held Jimmy in place while Hayes attacked him with the weapon, and Jey suffered the same treatment moments later as Nima and Price restrained him for Hayes.
The final image of the show said everything. Carmelo Hayes stood alongside Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Royce Keys as Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa were left laid out around the ring.
Hayes did not need a long speech to explain what he had just done. His actions made the message clear, and his alliance with 946 immediately gives the group another major player while putting him directly in the path of The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
Now the biggest question is what comes next. Was Carmelo Hayes officially joining 946, or was this attack part of something even bigger that has yet to be revealed?
