Joey Janela’s war with Bully Ray has gotten even uglier, and now he’s throwing out some wild accusations about how the WWE Hall of Famer spends his weekends.
After their blowup over the flaming table spot that left Janela hospitalized with severe burns, “The Bad Boy” took things in a completely different direction on social media. Janela called Bully Ray a “fraud” and claimed the 54-year-old spends Sundays at Djais on the Jersey Shore buying drinks for groups of women in their early twenties while brushing off fans.
“There’s no bigger fraud on the Jersey Shore then 54 year old Bubba Dudley, sits around at Djais by himself on Sundays all day buying groups of 22 year old girls shots, waiting for someone to recognize him and when they do and ask for a picture he tells him to fuck off… The stories never end, when people find out I’m a wrestler they go ‘Do you know Mark (Bubba Ray), that guys a fucking loser.’”
When another user joked that Bully always seemed more like a Bar A guy, Janela doubled down and claimed Bully used to work security at Djais in the 1990s and still hangs around there.
“He 1000%, used to bounce there in the 90s. You’ll see him there on Tuesday nights sometimes as the only 45+ person in the place.”
Janela then shared a story from his early wrestling days, claiming he approached Bully when he was 21 years old and got a less-than-friendly response.
“I met him at Bar A beat the clock when I was 21, I came up to him told him I was a young indie wrestler and I wanted to say hello and he told me to buy him a drink or fuck off, when I bought him a shot he still told me to fuck off lmfao.”
The social media shots come after Janela publicly accused Bully of causing severe burns during a flaming table spot at GCW Fight Club 2024. Janela says Bully used too much lighter fluid and never checked on him afterward. Bully fired back by saying Janela begged for the spot and was lying about what happened.
Adding fuel to Janela’s side of the story, wrestler Justin Finn recently posted photos of Janela’s injuries and said the burns were so bad that his skin was bubbling and falling off. According to Finn, the shirt Bully blamed never caught fire.
