Bruce Prichard may have spent the last couple of months away from WWE dealing with back problems, but apparently, he wasn’t just sitting around.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Prichard is on his way back after being sidelined since WrestleMania 42, and word is he looks a lot different these days as well. Meltzer noted that Prichard has reportedly dropped “a lot of weight” during his time away.
That’s notable considering Prichard is still one of the most influential people behind the scenes in WWE. As Executive Director of Creative Writing and Talent, he’s long been one of the key players helping steer storylines, talent direction, and the overall creative process.
Prichard’s absence following WrestleMania 42 was said to be related to back issues, but it sounds like he’s now healthy enough to jump back into the mix. And if the reports about the weight loss are accurate, he may be returning in the best shape fans have seen him in for years.
There is no word yet on how heavy his workload will be right away, but Prichard coming back after back issues and major weight loss is definitely something people will notice. For now, WWE is getting one of its most experienced creative figures back in the building, and that could have an impact on how things move creatively in the coming weeks.
