Bron Breakker had another really scary landing on his neck during a WWE live event, and the footage is tough to watch. Breakker somehow managed to finish the match afterwards, but right now there’s no word on whether he actually walked away without an injury.
The moment happened during WWE’s October 17 live event, where Breakker teamed with Bronson Reed and Austin Theory against Oba Femi, LA Knight and Penta. The babyface trio eventually won the match, but a clip involving Breakker and Knight has since started making the rounds online.
Breakker was setting Knight up for his Frankensteiner from the top rope, something fans have seen him pull off plenty of times before. This time, however, Knight slipped out just as Breakker was jumping toward the turnbuckle, and everything went sideways from there.
Breakker appeared to lose his footing on the turnbuckle and came crashing down in a really ugly way. He landed around his neck and upper-body area, and the referee immediately rushed over to check on him.
Thankfully, Breakker was able to keep going and finish the match. That’s obviously a positive sign, but there’s currently no confirmation from WWE or Breakker about whether he was actually hurt during the spot.
The footage is even harder to watch because this isn’t the first time Breakker has had a nasty landing on his neck. Back at Survivor Series: WarGames in November 2025, things went badly wrong during a Doomsday Device spot involving Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.
Breakker didn’t get the full rotation and came down directly on his neck. Bryan Alvarez later described just how frightening it looked while discussing the match on Wrestling Observer Radio.
“So then they almost killed Bron Breakker. They tried to Doomsday Device, but he did not flip over, landed right on his neck, thought this guy was dead.”
Now Breakker has had another frightening close call less than a year later. The fact that he finished the October 17 match is encouraging, but until there’s an actual update on his condition, it’s probably too early to say he came out of this one completely fine.
