Bron Breakker has spent months wondering how WWE took one of its biggest young stars and landed him here. Now the company appears to be trying to fix it.

Speaking during the August 11 edition of Self Made Sessions, Self Made Pro revealed that Breakker has remained baffled by his creative direction in recent months and doesn’t believe his current position is where he expected to be at this stage of his WWE career.

“Now, I’ve said this before. It got aggregated. Some people got mad. It’s the truth. The truth is just the truth. Bron Breakker, like Dominik, has been baffled with his creative in recent months.”

That frustration apparently hasn’t resulted in Breakker storming into creative meetings or demanding WWE change everything around him. According to what Self Made Pro has heard from people within WWE, that’s simply not Breakker’s personality. He isn’t someone who loudly challenges every idea he dislikes, but that doesn’t mean he’s been happy with where things have gone.

“As far as I hear from people in WWE, he doesn’t have that type of like boisterous personality. He’s not one of those walk through the curtain, yell at guys type of person. He’s not even the type of guy that when he told something, even if it’s a bad idea, he’s gonna go, ‘What the fuck is this?’ He’s—that’s not his personality, right? But he is of the belief like, ‘Hey man, like this is not where I really saw myself at this point.’”

The interesting part is WWE may finally be doing something about it. Self Made Pro said he was told last week that WWE was preparing to begin what was described to him as the “Bron Breakker rehabilitation.” Then RAW happened.

“I don’t know if you saw this, but on Raw, if you remember last week on Sessions, I said that I was told that the Bron Breaker rehabilitation would begin on that show.”

WWE didn’t exactly ease into it. Breakker demolished Joe Hendry and nearly cut him in half with a spear before putting him away in dominant fashion.

“What they ended up doing, Bron Breaker spears the dog s*** out of Joe Hendry and squashes him.”

Then came August 10. Breakker found himself standing face-to-face with Oba Femi on RAW, and things escalated quickly enough that the two monsters had to be separated. WWE didn’t announce a match, but it wasn’t exactly subtle either. Breakker and Femi now look like two trains WWE fully intends to send crashing into each other eventually.

That’s a noticeable change from where this story was only a month ago. Self Made Pro previously reported that Breakker had become frustrated enough with his creative to hold conversations inside WWE about getting himself out of his existing situation and moving in another direction.

“I can tell you he had conversations with people in the company about ejecting himself from this situation and being put in another situation creatively.”

Breakker apparently never became the guy kicking down doors and screaming about his booking. He didn’t have to. WWE seems to have gotten the message anyway.

A Joe Hendry demolition followed by a staredown with Oba Femi certainly looks a lot more like the Bron Breakker people expected to see. After months of wondering how he ended up where he was, WWE may finally be putting him back on the road he thought he’d be traveling all along.

Do you think WWE is finally getting Bron Breakker back on track, and is Oba Femi the right feud to do it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
