Brock Lesnar may be headed into a massive rematch with Oba Femi at WWE Clash in Italy this weekend, but new information suggests WWE fans shouldn’t expect The Beast Incarnate to disappear again afterward.

Lesnar shocked fans at WrestleMania when he seemingly retired following his brutal loss to Oba Femi. The surprise didn’t last very long, however, because Lesnar returned last week on WWE RAW and immediately reignited the feud by attacking The Ruler.

During RAW this week, Paul Heyman opened the show before introducing a pre-taped Brock Lesnar promo where The Beast reflected on WrestleMania and admitted the beating from Oba Femi nearly convinced him his career was over. Lesnar then shifted gears completely and promised to destroy Femi at Clash in Italy.

“You’re gonna get your ass kicked by a humbled, retired beast. Brock Lesnar will conquer Oba Femi. I am gonna rule over Oba Femi.”

Oba Femi later came to the ring and fired back with an intense warning of his own, promising he plans to “kill” Brock Lesnar when they meet again in Italy. The confrontation immediately added even more heat to one of WWE’s biggest matches heading into the weekend. Now, there’s another major update regarding Lesnar’s future.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar is expected to continue appearing for WWE even after Clash in Italy. At this point, Lesnar is not currently scheduled for WWE’s upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show at Madison Square Garden, but WWE reportedly has additional plans for him beyond this weekend’s premium live event.

That update alone will likely spark a ton of speculation among fans, especially considering how heavily WWE pushed Lesnar’s “retirement” angle following WrestleMania. Between his return attack on Oba Femi and this latest report, it now looks increasingly clear that WWE never intended for Brock’s comeback run to end that quickly.

WWE Clash in Italy takes place Sunday, May 31 from the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, and Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi is shaping up to be one of the biggest matches on the card.

Do you think WWE should continue Brock Lesnar’s run after Clash in Italy, or should this feud with Oba Femi be the final chapter? Let us know in the comments.
