Britt Baker has been out of the ring for nearly two years, and she still isn’t giving fans much to work with when it comes to a possible comeback.
A fan asked Baker directly in the comments of one of her Instagram posts if she was ever going to wrestle again. Instead of giving a yes or no answer, Baker tossed the question right back.
“I dunno, should I?”
Baker hasn’t wrestled since 2024 and was last seen on AEW television in November of that year. Her name has continued to come up for possible creative ideas, but nothing has turned into an actual return.
Sean Ross Sapp recently addressed Baker’s status and said he hasn’t heard anything suggesting AEW is preparing to bring her back anytime soon.
“I’ve heard nothing at all to indicate that she would be popping up anytime soon. Her name is brought up here and there for an idea, but I’ve never really heard that it’s gotten very far, and I don’t know why.”
Baker was also discussed for Willow Nightingale’s “Comeback Killer” storyline, but that idea never went anywhere. Sapp added that AEW simply hasn’t had solid plans for Baker for a long time.
“They just haven’t had any real solid plans to use her for two years.”
There’s also the question of Baker’s contract. She signed a five-year AEW deal in 2021, but AEW could potentially add injury time because of how long she has been sidelined.
For now, Baker remains off television with no clear return date. And judging by her response to the fan, she isn’t exactly rushing to tell anyone that a comeback is around the corner.
