Blake Monroe finally got the match she had been chasing for weeks — and walked out with the win on the October 2, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown. WWE billed the showdown against Giulia as Monroe’s “in-ring debut,” despite the two women being scheduled to wrestle multiple times over the past month only for their issues to explode before the match could properly get underway.

This time, they actually made it through the bell. Monroe and Giulia immediately started trading control, with Giulia grabbing a headlock takedown before Monroe answered with a hurricanrana and basement dropkick. Giulia eventually kicked Monroe to the floor, but Monroe fired right back by sending her into the apron and drilling her with a knee.

Monroe kept pressing once the action returned to the ring, hitting a snap suplex before standing on Giulia’s hair until the referee stepped in. Giulia answered with a boot to the forehead, but Monroe kept coming and planted her with a neckbreaker before locking in a crossface in the middle of the ring.

Giulia eventually mounted a comeback and started throwing some serious offense of her own. She connected with a running forearm, missile dropkick and later an Arrivederci knee before following it with a Stomp, but Monroe still managed to survive.

Then came the opening Monroe needed. With both women fighting on the top rope, Monroe tripped Giulia and sent her face-first into the turnbuckle. Monroe immediately went for the cover and got the three-count, officially picking up the victory in what WWE called her SmackDown in-ring debut.

The win comes after weeks of chaos between Monroe and Giulia. Their previous attempts to actually have a match kept falling apart before things could get going, including the September 4 SmackDown brawl where Giulia caught Monroe with a knee to the face and left her needing mouth surgery.

Monroe later revealed that the damage was serious enough that she needed a procedure and several days to recover. That only made this eventual showdown even more personal, and when WWE finally managed to get them through an actual match, Monroe was the one with her hand raised.

After weeks of attacks, abandoned matches and even surgery, Monroe finally got her shot at Giulia and made it count. Whatever WWE wants to call the “debut,” the important part is that Monroe now has an official win over Giulia — and that gives her plenty to brag about after everything these two have put each other through.
