Former WWE LFG star BJ Ray is coming for Bully Ray hard, and this is not some polite little disagreement.
BJ jumped on Twitter and flat-out accused Bully of trying to sabotage his WWE LFG run from the inside. According to BJ, Bully was not just tough on him for TV. He claims Bully was pitching bad ideas for him behind the scenes on purpose.
“Bully prolly one of the worst people I’ve ever met in my life. Buddy would pitch awful ideas on my behalf in LFG just to sabotage me. Could always tell it was cause he was intimated by me 💯”
Yeah, he went there. BJ was not done either. He followed up by claiming he heard WWE wanted to push him to win the show, but Bully allegedly refused to back him.
“I had heard they wanted to push me to win but bully wouldn’t put me over. Ego issues”
That is a wild accusation, especially because these two already looked like oil and water on WWE LFG. BJ once called Bully out in front of the coaches after feeling disrespected over a handshake, and Bully immediately put him in his place. Bully told him he was “in two Hall of Fames” and had more championships than BJ had “shower time.” So, the tension was not exactly hidden.
BJ was later released by WWE in October 2025 after shoulder surgery, and Bully had zero sympathy for released LFG and NXT talent. He basically said some of them should have worked harder, been more respectful, and taken the opportunity more seriously. He also made it clear he is not in WWE to babysit anyone.
“I give them no advice—they’re gone. But I really don’t have advice for these other talents. Maybe you should have taken it more seriously. Maybe you shouldn’t have put your feet up on the table. Maybe you should have shook hands. Maybe you should have been more polite. Maybe you should have busted your ass a little more. Maybe you should have cut a better promo. You got five minutes—get over or get out. This is not a business for boys and girls. It’s a business for men and women. I’m not here to coddle anybody.”
Now BJ is firing back and making it personal. He is not just saying Bully was hard on him. He is accusing Bully of actively holding him down. Bully has not responded yet, but with BJ throwing around words like “sabotage” and “ego issues,” this LFG drama just got a lot messier.
Do you believe BJ Ray’s claims about Bully Ray sabotaging him on WWE LFG, or is this just sour grapes after his WWE release? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
