BirthRight moved on in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic during the WWE NXT episode on October 6, 2026, but the Tokyo Bad Boys gave Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey a serious fight. Kento and Takuma brought plenty of speed, but BirthRight found a way to shut them down when it mattered.
Kento came out flying with a crossbody, while Takuma kept the pressure going with a hurricanrana and a dive to the floor. The Tokyo Bad Boys kept throwing themselves at King and Dempsey, including a springboard clothesline, Spanish Fly and 450 Splash that nearly ended the match.
King managed to break up the pin, giving BirthRight the opening they needed. Dempsey then took over, hitting a superplex before sending Takuma into the turnbuckle and drilling him with a gut-wrench suplex with his shoulders down for the three-count.
That was enough to send Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey into the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The Tokyo Bad Boys brought the fireworks, but BirthRight walked away with the win.
