Oba Femi and Bronson Reed are officially headed for a collision at Money in the Bank. During the WWE RAW episode on September 28, 2026, Femi brought a contract to the ring, called Reed out, and got the signature he needed to lock in the match.
Femi came to the ring after weeks of issues with The Vision and made it clear that Reed had become his biggest problem. He said Reed returned with the wrong idea about where he stood in the pecking order, arguing that the landscape had changed while Reed was away and that Femi was now the man running the show.
The King of the Ring winner then revealed that he already had a contract for a match against Reed at Money in the Bank. Femi said the paperwork had already been signed by himself and Triple H, leaving only Reed’s signature to make it official.
Reed didn’t waste any time answering the challenge. He came to the ring and reminded Femi that they had already crossed paths twice, and both times Reed had managed to put him down.
He also brushed off Femi’s victories over Brock Lesnar, making it clear that he doesn’t see himself as another version of Lesnar or another name Femi can simply add to his résumé. Reed’s message was that he isn’t interested in merely competing with Femi — he plans to dominate him.
Reed then signed the contract and walked away, officially setting the match for Money in the Bank. Femi got the final word and warned Reed that putting pen to paper had sealed his fate. He also pointed to Paul Heyman’s involvement, saying Reed had been sent after him because The Vision needed somebody capable of stopping the one man they haven’t been able to control.
That gives WWE another heavyweight fight for Money in the Bank, and this one already feels personal. Reed believes he has proof that he can put Femi down, while Oba believes Reed just volunteered to find out what happens when somebody finally pushes him too far.
