Avery Styles appears to have come out of this week’s TNA Wrestling tapings a little worse for wear, as he was seen wearing a walking boot after the company wrapped up its latest set of shows in Dothan, Alabama.
TNA held tapings on October 13 and October 14 at the Dothan Civic Center, with part of the footage later airing on the October 15 episode of TNA Impact. The October 13 taping also featured The Hardys, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy, having full creative control over the show. Styles was among the wrestlers who worked during the tapings, but he wasn’t the only person dealing with some physical issues afterward.
According to Fightful Select, multiple wrestlers were banged up following the tapings, with Styles specifically spotted in a walking boot.
“There were a couple of wrestlers banged up after TNA tapings this week. Avery Styles was in a walking boot following the tapings, @FightfulSelect has learned.”
There is no word yet on the exact nature of Styles’ injury or how much time, if any, he could miss. A walking boot can be used for a range of foot or ankle issues, so the severity of the situation remains unclear for now.
That makes Styles’ status something to keep an eye on coming out of a busy two-night stretch for TNA. With multiple wrestlers apparently feeling the effects of the tapings, the next few days could bring a clearer picture of who is dealing with legitimate injuries and who is simply working through the normal wear and tear of the ring.
