Andy Williams will be honored with a massive celebration of life later this month, and the people closest to him are making sure the night feels exactly like the kind of sendoff The Butcher deserves. The memorial will be free to attend, packed with music, memories and fundraising efforts designed to keep Williams’ name alive long after the night is over.
The plans were announced on September 9, 2026, with a celebration of life set for Sunday, September 27 at Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, New York. The event will run from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. and is open to all ages. Organizers made it clear there is no charge to attend, but they are asking fans to RSVP through AndyWilliamsForever.com so they can get an idea of how many people are coming.
“Celebration of life memorial for our brother, Andy Williams. Sunday, September 27th 6-11pm at Buffalo Riverworks. This is a free event, but we ask that you please RSVP in the link (andywilliamsforever.com) in order for us to estimate headcounts.”
The night won’t just be about gathering in one room either. Two shirt and hoodie designs have already been put up for preorder, with 100% of those proceeds going to the Williams family so they can distribute the money to charities and organizations of their choosing in Andy’s honor. There’s also a bigger plan behind all of this.
“There will be more charitable items to come from our wonderful friends that we have worked with for many years to beautifully memorialize Andy forever and help others in need, like he always did. This is the start to what we hope and will work for to eventually start an Andy Williams Foundation.”
That means the September 27 memorial could be the beginning of something much larger, with Williams’ family and friends hoping to eventually create a foundation in his name.
Fans who can’t make it to Buffalo are still being invited to be part of the night. Organizers are asking people to submit videos sharing their favorite Andy Williams stories or moments, no matter how big or small, to andywilliamsforever@gmail.com. Those clips will be edited together and shown during the memorial.
“If you can’t make it, we welcome any and all video submissions of stories or moments of Andy that you have. Doesn’t matter how big or small. We want to see them.”
The music side of Williams’ life is going to be heavily represented too. Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath of Cave In, Dan O’Connor and Alan Day of Four Year Strong, and Anthony Green are all scheduled to perform acoustic tributes during the evening.

The announcement comes days after Williams died at age 48 following a medical emergency during an Enjoy Wrestling event in Pennsylvania. His death hit both the wrestling and music worlds hard, with tributes pouring in from people who knew him as The Butcher, as a musician, and simply as Andy.
This won’t just be a funeral-style gathering where everybody sits around quietly remembering what was lost. The entire thing is being built around the stories, music, friendships and charity work Williams cared about — and the people organizing it clearly want September 27 to feel like a real celebration of the life he lived.
