Andre Chase is already moving forward after his WWE release earlier this year — and he’s got a new name to go with it.

Chase took to Twitter and revealed that he will now be known as “The Professor” Andre Chance following his WWE release. The former Chase U leader made it clear he’s ready to get back to work and bring his new act to promotions looking to book him.

“I want you to put the word out there that we back up‼️ Want Professor Chance to bring the tailgate to your town⁉️ Tag your local/favorite promotions below and let’s get to work 🤝 🙌🏼”

The name change comes after Atomic Legacy Wrestling announced that Chase will appear at Star Spangled Slammer 10 on July 4 in Daytona Beach, Florida. That appearance is set to be his first post-WWE booking following his release from the company.

Chase had already built a strong identity in NXT through Chase U, where he became a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion. Now, with the “Professor” Andre Chance name, he’s clearly keeping the academic-style energy alive while starting fresh outside WWE.

Andre Chase definitely wasted no time letting promoters know he’s available, and this new name shows he’s not just waiting around after his WWE exit. So it’s safe to say that Professor Chance is officially open for business.

Do you like Andre Chase’s new name, “The Professor” Andre Chance, or should he have gone in a completely different direction? Let us know your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
