Andrade may call himself “The Real Latino Man,” but apparently someone else is trying to borrow the identity for themselves. The AEW National Champion has now warned fans about a fake social media account impersonating him and seemingly offering everything from meet-and-greets to wrestling appearances.
Andrade took to his Instagram Story and shared a screenshot of the account after another fan raised the alarm. The fan made sure people knew Andrade’s actual account and warned that fake profiles were being created to impersonate wrestlers.
“Andrade’s official account is @andradealmas. Watch out, everyone! People are creating fake accounts impersonating wrestlers to carry out their own activities.”
The fake profile was using Andrade’s “The Real Latino Man” nickname while presenting itself as a way to contact him for professional opportunities. Its bio advertised several different types of bookings.
“THE REAL LATINO MAN
New project, meet and greet, interview, collaboration, movies, wrestling, presentations, professionally.”
Andrade didn’t need a lengthy statement to clear things up. After reposting the warning to his own Instagram Story, the AEW star simply confirmed that the account had nothing to do with him.
“Fake account”
The warning comes while Andrade is currently carrying the AEW National Championship and remains heavily featured on television. That visibility also means fans could easily mistake an impersonator for a legitimate account, especially when the profile is presenting itself as a way to arrange professional bookings.
Andrade made sure there wasn’t any confusion about this one. Whatever the person behind the profile is trying to do, the account isn’t his, and the National Champion wants fans to know that before they interact with it.
