Amber Flora’s DUI arrest is looking a whole lot messier now that police documents are coming to light. The former WWE NXT and AEW wrestler was allegedly slurring her words, swaying while walking and struggling to provide a breath sample after being arrested in Orlando, Florida. And according to police, she was given multiple chances to complete the test before officers finally classified it as a refusal.

Ringside News obtained nine pages of official law enforcement documents filed in Orange County on October 24, detailing what happened after Flora was arrested on October 23. The 34-year-old wrestler, also known as Amber Nova, was taken into custody by Orlando police at approximately 1:48 AM on suspicion of DUI before being brought to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office DUI Testing Center.

That’s where officers say things started getting interesting. According to the Alcohol Influence Form, Flora had bloodshot, glassy eyes, a flushed face and an odor of alcohol coming from her breath. Her speech was described as slow and thick-tongued, while officers also documented that she appeared dazed and confused. Despite those observations, the report states that she was cooperative during the initial observation period.

The situation apparently didn’t get any better when officers escorted her to the testing room. According to the documents, Flora was walking slowly and swaying from side to side. Police then asked her to submit to a breath alcohol test, but she initially refused. After officers explained the consequences, she was unable to make a decision about whether she would continue refusing, so the testing equipment was started to give her another opportunity.

That first round didn’t go anywhere. Between 3:06 AM and 3:17 AM, officers attempted to collect two breath samples, but neither produced a valid result. The official testing records marked both attempts as “NSP,” meaning no sample provided. Flora also asked to speak with her attorney during the process, according to the officer’s account.

But here’s where things took another turn. Before officers finalized the refusal, Flora pleaded with them and said she wanted to take the breath test after all. Police restarted the machine and gave her another chance, but the second round ended exactly like the first.

Between 3:19 AM and 3:31 AM, two additional attempts failed to produce valid breath samples. According to the officer’s written account, Flora continued talking during the periods when she was supposed to provide a sample. After four unsuccessful attempts across two testing sequences, police officially classified the situation as a refusal at 3:31 AM.

The paperwork doesn’t contain a measured blood alcohol concentration, meaning there’s no documented breath alcohol reading establishing how much alcohol, if any, was in Flora’s system. However, officers recorded multiple observations they considered signs of possible impairment, and the refusal became a separate part of her legal troubles.

Flora was subsequently released from custody after posting $2,000 in total bail. She appeared in court on October 24, with another compliance date scheduled for November 2. The wrestler previously competed for WWE NXT, AEW and Impact Wrestling, and captured the SHINE Nova Championship in 2023.

Now Flora is facing the consequences of an arrest that police say involved more than just an unsuccessful breath test. The documents describe an extended encounter in which she initially refused testing, requested another opportunity and still failed to provide the required samples. Those are police allegations, and Flora has not been convicted of the offenses.

For now, the arrest is behind her, but the legal battle is just getting started. With police documenting her behavior and four unsuccessful breath sample attempts, the case could come down to what happened during those early morning hours inside the testing facility.
