Wardlow’s comeback got a fresh tease during AEW All Out on September 26, 2026. AEW aired a video package hyping his return, but gave no date for when he’ll be back in the ring.
The video follows Wardlow’s recent interview with BCP+, where he said his recovery was nearing its end after more than two years away from wrestling. Wardlow has been off AEW television since March 2024, with injuries and a serious car accident keeping him sidelined.
“I am so excited to get back to wrestling in front of a live crowd… And we’re very, very close to being ready.”
Wardlow also promised fans would see the most dominant version of him yet when he finally returns. Ringside News previously covered his comments about the long layoff and comeback.
