AEW’s rising star Hologram just confirmed what fans feared—he’s had knee surgery and is officially out for the foreseeable future.

In a video posted to Instagram on October 31, Hologram showed off his leg wrapped in bandages and surgical tape, revealing that he has gone under the knife to begin his rehab process. The caption read, “Surgery… Rehab. Rise up.”

The post comes after Wrestling Observer Live reported that Hologram had suffered a serious knee injury, forcing him to miss his scheduled match against Kyle Fletcher and derailing AEW’s planned feud between Hologram and The Clone. Bryan Alvarez stated the situation bluntly, “Hologram has a knee injury and he’s going to be out for a long, long time.”

It’s a huge blow for AEW, especially considering the momentum Hologram was building. He had recently pinned Hechicero in a trios match on Dynamite, extending his undefeated streak in singles and tag competition. Since debuting in July 2024, AEW had been positioning him as a breakout star.

This marks the second major setback for Hologram, who previously missed time due to an ankle injury and later took time off following the birth of his child. Still, his fanbase remains loyal and hopeful as he embarks on another comeback journey.
