AEW Revolution Zero Hour Pre-Show Results (3/9/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

AEW Revolution Zero Hour Pre-Show opens up with Renee Paquette welcoming us. She then introduces RJ City, Jeff Jarrett and Paul Walter Hauser as the other members of the pre-show panel and they run down the card for tonight’s PPV.

We then get a video package hyping up the match between Kazuchika Okada and Brody King and the pre-show panel discusses the AEW Continental Championship Match and other matches set to take place on tonight’s show.

Damaris Lewis and Kelli Berglund, who play Babs Wingo and Nell Stewart respectively in Queen of the Ring then join the panel and they talk about the film as well as pro wrestling in general. Hauser asks if either of them would be interested in stepping in the ring and Berglund says she would.

We then get a video package hyping up the match between Mercedes Moné and Momo Watanabe and the pre-show panel discusses the AEW TBS Championship Match.

Harley Cameron then joins the panel and talks about Mariah May attacking AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm on the red-carpet premiere of Queen of the Ring a few days ago. Cameron then brings in QT Marshall, who says no offense to Hauser, but celebrities should stay on the panel and not the ring. Hauser then says if Marshall booked a role in Hollywood, he would be happy for him, not say he didn’t belong. Marshall then takes some jabs at Hauser wrestling in bingo halls and offered to train him as he trained Cameron. Marshall then asks for Hauser to lock-up and they did as Hauser puts him in a headlock. Marshall then doesn’t take it well and throws his drink into Hauser’s face before leaving. Hauser then storms out as well.

We then head to ringside, where Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone welcome us to the show and they quickly react to what just happened between Hauser and Marshall.

Blake Christian and Lee Johnson then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the pre-show and Hologram, Komander and Alex Abrahantes follow.

Tag Team Match: Lee Johnson and Blake Christian vs. Komander and Hologram

The match starts off with Christian and Johnson wasting no time and delivers some forearms on Hologram and Komander in the corner. Christian then accidentally hits a strike on Johnson when aiming for Hologram. Komander then hits Christian with a hurricanrana, then takes flight with Hologram to land on Christian and Johnson on the outside.

Komander then tags in and double teams on Johnson with Hologram. Komander then hits a sliding kick on Johnson, but Christian tags in. Johnson then drapes Komander across the top rope and Christian flies to send him crashing onto the floor. Christian then sends Komander back inside the ring and stomps on his head, then tags Johnson back in. Christian and Johnson then nails Komander with a double clothesline before Christian tags back in and continues wearing down Komander. Komander then takes down Christian as he looks to fly off the ropes, but Johnson tags in.

Komander then hits an enzuigiri on Johnson and tags Hologram in. Hologram then trips Johnson and hits a Spanish Fly in him, then drags Christian up the ropes. Johnson then pushes Hologram off the top and flies to land on him on the outside, then sends him back in the ring. Christian then hits a 450 Splash off the middle on Hologram and flies through the middle rope to take down Komander on the outside.

Komander then tags in and climbs to the top, then walks the ropes and looks to hit a moonsault on Johnson. Christian then pulls Johnson out of the ring and locks in a submission on Komander, but Hologram hits a double stomp off the top to break the hold. Hologram then tags in and climbs to the top, then hits a 450 Splash on Christian for the win.

We then see Renee Paquette on stage with Ash Avildsen, writer and director of Queen of the Ring, who says he wanted to honor the forgotten stories of women’s wrestling and Mildred Burke’s story is the perfect story to inspire those to never give up. Avildsen then mentions how it’s a small independent film that has 4 days left to see it on the big screen. Avildsen then plugs the film once more and talks about The Hollywood Ending tonight. Taz then says Avildsen should run for mayor.

“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the pre-show and joins the commentary desk. Shane Taylor then makes his way down to the ring with Lee Moriarty and The Infantry and The Undisputed Kingdom and AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia follow.

8-Man Tag Team Match: AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia and The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, ROH Pure Champion “Taiga Style” Lee Moriarty, “Captain” Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo)

The match starts off with Roderick Strong and Carlie Bravo and both men lock up. Kyle O’Reilly then tags in and delivers some kicks on Bravo in the corner, then takes Shawn Dean down and delivers some right and left hands on Bravo before wearing him down with a submission hold.

Adam Cole then tags in and hits a Stunner on Bravo, then delivers some right hands on him in the corner and tags in Garcia. Bravo then nails Garcia with a forearm and tags in Lee Moriarty. Garcia then nails Moriarty with a back elbow and sends him into the corner, then follows it up with a twisting neckbreaker. Moriarty then nails Garcia with a clothesline as the rest of Shane Taylor Promotions knocks The Undisputed Kingdom off the ring apron and Shane Taylor runs them all over with shoulder tackles on the outside.

We then see The Opps watching the action from a box as Garcia nails Moriarty with a back suplex. Dean then tags in and double teams on Garcia with Bravo before Moriarty tags in and delivers some stomps on Garcia in the corner. Garcia then delivers some right hands on Moriarty, but Moriarty nails him and tags Bravo back in. Bravo then continues wearing Garcia down, but Taylor tags in and hits a leg drop on Garcia as he is draped off the apron.

Taylor then mocks The Undisputed Kingdom on the apron, opening the door for Garcia to nail him with a back suplex and tag in O’Reilly. Cole and Moriarty are then tagged in and Cole takes down Moriarty with a couple of shoulder-breakers. Cole then climbs to the top rope, but Garcia tags himself in much to the surprise of Cole. Garcia then locks in a Sharpshooter on Moriarty and Moriarty taps out as Cole stares down Garcia.

After the match, Garcia goes to ringside and does his dance while standing on the ringside barricade. Cole then watches from the ring and applauds when Garcia turns around. Menard then leaves the commentary desk.

We then get a video package hyping up the AEW World Tag Team Championship Match set to take place later tonight and we see video footage of The Hurt Syndicate in the gym.

Gravity then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the pre-show and The Learning Tree follows.

ROH World Championship Match: The Learning Tree’s “The Nueve” Chris Jericho (c) vs. Gravity

The match starts off with Chris Jericho hitting Gravity with his baseball bat and delivering some stomps on him along with Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Bandido then makes his way down to the ring to provide Gravity with a helping hand, but Bill hits him with a boot. Jericho, Keith and Bill then continue beating Bandido down and Keith delivers some right hands on Bandido. Jericho then rips Gravity’s mask off his face as Bill holds a helpless Bandido in place, then hits Gravity and Bandido with his bat and nails Gravity with the Judas Effect.

Jericho. then parades around Gravity’s mask as the referee grabs Gravity’s mother and sister from the crowd. Jericho then grabs his bat and hits a stomp on Bandido’s head, then continues parading Gravity’s mask around.

The ROH World Championship Match ends in a No Contest!

We then head back to the pre-show panel and they are joined by Yung Gravy. Gravy says he is siding with MJF tonight in his match with “Hangman” Adam Page. Paquette then asks what Gravy has lined up and he says he is just chilling. We then head back to the commentary desk, where Tony Schiavone says it wasn’t just Gravy, but Yung Gravy.

Johnny TV and MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) then make their way down to the ring for the final match of the pre-show and Big Boom! A.J. and The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe) follow.

Trios Match: Big Boom! A.J. and The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe) vs. Johnny TV and MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor)

The match starts off with Orange Cassidy and Johnny TV and Cassidy nails TV with a dropkick. Cassidy then puts on his sunglasses and tags in Mark. Mark then hits TV with a shoulder tackle, then delivers some right hands on him in the corner and tags in A.J.. A.J. then delivers some right hands on TV in the corner, then tags in Cassidy. Cassidy then follows suit with one right hand, but Mason Madden tags in.

Mansoor and Madden then take a posing break and Cassidy joins them. Cassidy then hops out of the ring before they can nail him and takes a cookie break with The Rizzler and Big Justice. Madden then delivers some right hands on Cassidy, then sends him into the corner and tags in Mansoor. Mansoor then hits a dropkick on Cassidy’s legs and Madden nails him with a Hip Attack.

TV and Mark then tag in and Mark nails Mansoor with a neckbreaker off the apron. Mark then climbs to the top rope, but Madden pulls him off with a chokeslam as Valkyrie distracts the referee. A.J. then tags in and stacks Mansoor, Madden and TV up in the corner. A.J. then hits a splash on all three men and a back body drop on TV, then nails Mansoor with a uranage. TV then nails A.J. with a uranage and kisses Valkyrie, but Harley Cameron appears out of nowhere and sends Valkyrie crashing into one of the barricades.

This then opens the door for A.J. to powerbomb TV, but Mansoor nails him with a superkick. Cassidy then distracts the referee as Justice takes down Mansoor with a powerbomb. Cassidy then hugs A.J., but Madden nails A.J. with a leg lariat. Madden then taps Justice on the shoulder and looks to hit a right hand on him, but Mark comes to Justice’s aid. Cassidy then hits an Orange Punch on Madden and A.J., Cassidy and Mark hits a triple powerbomb on Madden for the win.

After the match, Lance Archer and Brian Cage surround A.J., Cassidy and Mark in the ring. Powerhouse Hobbs then comes to their aid and nails Madden with a spinebuster as Adam Devine and Tony Cavalero enter from the crowd and hit a double chokeslam on Mansoor.

We then get a video package on the rivalry between “Hangman” Adam Page and MJF.

The panel then discusses Hangman Page and MJF’s match for tonight and a few other matches, then runs down the card once more as the pre-show comes to a close.

AEW Revolution Results (3/9/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

AEW Revolution opens up with a video package and pyro starts shooting off on the stage. Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone then welcomes us to the PPV.

MJF then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the PPV and “Hangman” Adam Page follows.

Singles Match: MJF vs. “Hangman” Adam Page

The match starts off with Hangman Page delivers some right hands on MJF. Page then delivers some stomps on MJF in the corner, but MJF sends Page into the opposite corner. Page then hits a jawbreaker on MJF, but MJF powerbombs Page and nails him. Page then sends MJF crashing onto the floor by clotheslining him off the apron, then flies to land on him and sends him back in the ring. Page then hits a moonsault on MJF off the ropes to take him down, then sends him back inside the ring and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat. MJF then moves out of the way to avoid it, then hits Page with an Alabama Slam.

Page then hits a Dead Eye on MJF and goes for a pin, but MJF kicks out. MJF then nails Page with a knee, but Page sends MJF crashing into the mat and hits him with the Buckshot Lariat. Page then goes for a pin, but MJF gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Page then spits in MJF’s face and nails him with a clothesline, then sets up for the Buckshot Lariat once again. MJF then rolls out of the ring on the other side and Page charges at him on the outside. MJF then moves out of the way and Page is sent crashing into the ring steps shoulder first.

Page then looks to hit the Buckshot Lariat on MJF, but MJF sees it coming and counters into the Salt of the Earth submission. MJF then transitions into a Crossface and another variation of an Armbar, but Page gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Page then looks to hit a moonsault on MJF off one of the barricades, but MJF catches him and hits a Tombstone on Page on the chair.

MJF then gets back in the ring and the referee begins a ten count as the doctor checks on Page. Page then beats the ten count to the frustration of MJF and MJF looks to hit the Heat Seeker on Page. Page then grabs MJF mid-air and hits him with the Dead Eye, then follows it up with Angel’s Wings before hitting MJF with the Buckshot Lariat for the win.

AEW TBS Championship Match: “The CEO” Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Momo Watanabe

The match starts off with both women locking up. Moné then hits Watanabe with a shoulder tackle, but Watanabe looks to send Moné crashing into the mat. Moné then rolls up Watanabe, but Watanabe kicks out and hits a roundhouse kick on Moné’s head. Moné then cinches in a crossface on Watanabe, but Watanabe gets her foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.

Moné then hits a couple of double knees on Watanabe, then powerbombs her off the ring apron and sends her back into the ring. Moné then slaps Watanabe and hits her with a meteora ss we see Billie Starkz watching the action and taking notes. Watanabe then hits Moné with a belly-to-back piledriver, but Moné responds with a couple of boots on Watanabe and The Three Amigos.

Watanabe then counters the last suplex into a Three Amigos of her own, then hits three dropkicks on Moné and delivers a couple of kicks on her chest. Watanabe then cinches in a submission on Moné, but Moné counters into a backstabber and sends Watanabe crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. Moné then hits a meteora off the middle turnbuckle and goes for a pin on Watanabe, but Watanabe kicks out.

Moné then charges at Watanabe in the corner, but Watanabe moves out of the way and hits a kick on Moné’s face. Watanabe then hits a meteora off the ropes on Moné on the apron. Moné then sets up for the Moné Maker on Watanabe, but Watanabe avoids it. Moné then cinches in the Statement Maker on Watanabe, but Watanabe avoids it. Both women then teeter on the ropes, but Watanabe sends Moné crashing into the middle rope and nails her with a kick. Watanabe then hits a roundhouse kick on Moné, but Moné hits a crossbody on Watanabe off the middle rope. Moné then hits the Moné Maker on Watanabe and transitions into the Statement Maker for the win.

After the match, we head back to Starkz and we see her still taking notes while seating in a suite.

AEW World Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet

The match starts off with Swerve Strickland and Ricochet having a stare-down and both men locking up. Both men then look to nail each other with boots. Ricochet then rolls out of the ring, but Strickland sends him bouncing off his shoulders when he gets back inside and slaps him repeatedly across the back of his head. Strickland then hits a forearm on the back of Ricochet’s head off the middle rope and follows it up with a second one before Ricochet sends Strickland crashing into one of the turnbuckles and hits him with a back suplex.

Ricochet then slaps Strickland, but Strickland clotheslines Ricochet out of the ring and delivers some right hands on him. Prince Nana then pulls Strickland off of Ricochet and Strickland gets in his face. Ricochet then takes advantage and nails Strickland with an enzuigiri, then hits a clothesline on him off the middle rope and follows it up with a springboard moonsault. Nana then storms to the back as he flips off Strickland and Strickland hits a backbreaker on Ricochet. Strickland then hits Ricochet with a suplex, but Ricochet hits a hurricanrana on Strickland off the top rope. Strickland then nails Ricochet with a powerslam, but Ricochet responds with back elbows on Strickland and follows it up with a reverse hurricanrana on the apron.

Ricochet then clears the announce desk and gets Strickland on top of it, but Strickland sends Ricochet crashing on top of it spine first instead. Strickland then sends Ricochet back in the ring and hits him with the Swerve Stomp off the top, then goes for a pin but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet then hits a suplex on Strickland, then follows it up with a Brainbuster and the 630 Splash. Ricochet then goes for a pin, but Strickland kicks out. Nana then grabs the Embassy robe off the ring post and Strickland looks to take advantage. Strickland rolls up Ricochet, but Ricochet kicks out. Ricochet then looks to nail Strickland, but Strickland side steps him and hits Nana with a tope suicida. Strickland then looks to fly, but Ricochet intercepts him and sends him crashing to the floor.

Ricochet and Strickland then get back in the ring and Ricochet hits a Vertigo on Strickland. Ricochet then goes for a pin, but Strickland kicks out. Ricochet then puts on the Embassy robe, but Nana grabs it from him. Strickland then rolls up Ricochet, but Ricochet counters into a pinfall of his own. Strickland then hits a couple of House Calls on Ricochet and follows it up with the JML Driver for the win.

After the match, comedian Brad Williams celebrates and dances as Strickland hands the Embassy robe over to Nana as he kneels down. Nana then takes it and hugs Strickland.

AEW Continental Championship Match: “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Hounds of Hell’s Brody King

The match starts off with both men locking up and King hitting a bodyslam on Okada. King then hits a chop on Okada on the outside and delivers some right hands on his spine back in the ring. King then knocks Okada back to the outside with a forearm and sends him crashing into two of the barricades as he continues delivering more chops on him.

Okada then sends King back in the ring and hits him with a bodyslam. Okada then climbs up the ropes, but King hits him with a double chop and follows it up with a superplex. King then hits Okada with a couple of clotheslines and a back body drop, then flies through the middle rope to land on Okada on the outside. King then hits a senton on Okada back in the ring, then nails him with a clothesline. Okada then responds with a shoulder-breaker and sets up for the Rainmaker, but King gets Okada on his shoulders and hits him with a Death Valley Driver in the corner. King then follows it up with a cannonball and goes for a pin, but Okada kicks out.

King then hits Okada with a back body drop and dropkicks him on the outside. King then grabs a chair, but the referee takes it from him and King headbutts Okada. Okada then responds with a dropkick on King and follows it up with the Rainmaker for the win.

The match starts off with Truth Magnum and Shelton Benjamin. Magnum hits a suplex on Benjamin. Benjamin then no sells it and sends Magnum crashing into the mat. Floyd then tags in and delivers a couple of right hands on Benjamin, but Magnum tags in and The Outrunners clothesline him out of the ring. Lashley then goes after Floyd, but Magnum sends him crashing onto the floor. Benjamin and Lashley then slide back into the ring and beat down The Outrunners. Benjamin then hits Magnum with a neckbreaker, then clotheslines him out of the ring and sends him crashing into the ring apron and barricade.

Benjamin then hits a couple of German suplexes on Magnum and tags in Lashley. Lashley then hits an over the shoulder powerslam on Magnum, then tags in Benjamin. Magnum then hits Benjamin with a Bulldog, then tags in Floyd. The Outrunners then hits a double elbow drop on Benjamin, but Lashley hits them both with a double clothesline. Benjamin and Floyd then exchange strikes, but Floyd climbs to the top rope and hits an Old School style arm drag on Benjamin. Lashley then hits Floyd with a spear for the win.

AEW Women’s World Championship Hollywood Ending Match: “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. “The Glamour” Mariah May

The match starts off with both women wasting no time in going after each other. May meets Storm on the entrance ramp and hits an overhand chop on Storm, then looks to suplex her off the entrance ramp. Storm then blocks it, but May hits Storm with a DDT. May then grabs a taser hidden in the flowers she brought to the ring, but Luther stops her from using it. May then responds by hitting a dropkick on Luther over a table, but Storm sends May off the entrance ramp crashing through a table that is already set up. Storm then goes for a pin on May, but May kicks out.

Storm then sends May crashing into one of the barricades, then hits a DDT on her off of it. Storm then looks to hit a Hip Attack on May, but May avoids it and hits a piledriver on Storm on the ring steps. May then grabs a chain and a couple of chairs from under the ring, then drapes Storm off the top by her knees and places a chair on top of her. Storm then grabs a bucket from under the ring full of broken champagne as May grabs one of her own. Storm and May then wrap their hands in double tape and dip it into the glass, but Storm hits May with the glass across her chest and dumps the rest of it out in the center of the ring.

Storm then places the broken glass into May’s forehead, but May hits Storm with the broken glass on her legs. May then places Storm on the top rope and bites her, then sends her crashing onto the broken glass with a hurricanrana and follows it up with May Day on top of the glass. May then goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out.

Storm then hits the Storm Zero on May on top of a chair and pins her, but May kicks out. Storm then grabs the shoe that May attacked her with previously and follows May up the ramp, then sends her face bouncing off the AEW Women’s World Championship belt and nails her across the spine with it. May then hits a May Day on Storm on the entrance ramp and goes for a pin, but Storm kicks out. May then drags Storm up on some boxes and looks to hit her with the shoe, but Storm takes it from her and repeatedly hits May in the head with it. Storm then hits May with the Storm Zero through a table for the win.

After the match, the director of Queen of the Ring and a few actresses from the movie are shown applauding. Storm then goes to the stage, while lying on top of May. Storm then looks at May and embraces her, while remaining on top of her.

We then get an AEW Dynasty video package for the PPV that will be held on Sunday, April 6th in Philadelphia.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW International Championship Match.

AEW International Championship Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs. “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega

The match starts off with both men having a face-to-face and wasting no time in going after each other. Both men then lock up and Takeshita nails Omega, but Omega sends Takeshita out of the ring and flies over the top rope to land on him. Omega then hits Takeshita with a chop. Takeshita then hits a Flapjack on Omega into the ring apron, then sends him into one of the barricades and sends him back inside the ring. Takeshita then delivers some right hands on Omega, then sends him crashing into the mat.

Don Callis then delivers some right hands on Omega on the outside, while the referee has his back turned and Takeshita hits more more right hands on Omega. Omega then sends Takeshita’s head bouncing off the top turnbuckle, but Takeshita delivers some shoulders on Omega’s midsection in the corner. Takeshita then grabs a table from under the ring, then sets it up and looks to send Omega crashing through it. Omega then fights Takeshita off and sends him crashing off the ring apron. Omega then gets Takeshita up on his shoulders and sends him crashing onto the floor. Omega then climbs up on one of the barricades, but Takeshita pushes him off and wears him down with a submission.

Omega then hits a moonsault on Takeshita off the ropes, then follows it up with a Frankensteiner and runs the ropes. Callis then trips Omega and Takeshita clotheslines himself and Omega over the top. Takeshita then hits a suplex on Omega, but the table gets flipped over and he sends Omega crashing into the table midsection first with a Falcon Arrow. Takeshita then hits a second Falcon Arrow on Omega on the side of the table and hits him with a couple of sentons. Takeshita then looks to hit a third one, but Omega gets his knees up and hits Takeshita with a senton off the top.

Omega then rolls out of the way, then hits a Snap Dragon suplex on Takeshita and follows it up with a V-Trigger. Omega then hits a powerbomb and a second V-Trigger on Takeshita, but Takeshita responds with a Blue Thunder Bomb on Omega. Omega then pulls Takeshita off the top rope, then goes for a pin but Takeshita kicks out. Omega then hits another V-Trigger on Takeshita, then sets up for the One Winged Angel. Takeshita then escapes and looks to hit the move on Omega himself, but Omega avoids it and looks to send Takeshita crashing into the mat. Takeshita then escapes and sends Omega crashing into the mat, then nails Omega with a running knee. Omega then responds with a piledriver on Takeshita.

Omega then hits a couple of knees on Takeshita’s head, then looks to hit him with another V-Trigger. Takeshita then avoids it, but Omega hits Takeshita with a V-Trigger and a reverse hurricanrana. Omega then hits another V-Trigger on Takeshita, but Callis holds on to Takeshita to prevent Omega from getting him up. Omega then rolls Takeshita up for the win.

The winner and new AEW International Champion, “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega!

After the match, a disappointed Takeshita makes his exit with Don Callis. Once they were backstage, some pyro shoots off on the stage. Omega then sits on the apron and looks at the championship, then hugs it before heading to the stage. Omega then holds up the title before heading to the back.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a Steel Cage Match.

Steel Cage Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher

The match starts off with both men standing on top of the cage, while staring each other down. They both then climb down to the ring and take turns delivering some right hands on each other. Both men then attempt to nail each other with shoulder tackles, but Ospreay hits Fletcher with a hurricanrana and jams his face into the side of the cage.

Fletcher then hits a chop on Ospreay, but Ospreay returns the favor and hits a Stun-Dog Millionaire on Fletcher. Ospreay then looks to hit an Oscutter on him, but Fletcher sends Ospreay crashing into the side of the cage face first. Fletcher then jams Ospreay’s face into it, then delivers some right hands on him and sends him into the corner chest first. Fletcher then stomps on Ospreay’s spine, but Ospreay hits a forearm on him off the top rope and delivers some forearms on him. Ospreay then sends Fletcher bouncing off opposite sides of the cage and sends him crashing into the mat spine first, then hits Fletcher with a standing Phoenix Splash and goes for a pin but Fletcher kicks out.

Ospreay then hits a series of chops on Fletcher, then sets up for the Hidden Blade. Fletcher then sees it coming, but Ospreay catapults him into the side of the cage and follows it up with a bodyslam. Ospreay then hits a Phoenix Splash off the top and goes for a pin on Fletcher, but Fletcher kicks out. Fletcher then trips Ospreay on the top rope and hits a kick that sends him crashing into the side of the cage. Fletcher then follows it up with a sit-out powerbomb and goes for a pin of his own, but Ospreay kicks out. Ospreay then hits a DDT on Fletcher, but Fletcher sends Ospreay crashing into the mat.

Mark Davis then brings a bag down to ringside with him, then breaks open the cage and dumps the bag into the ring. Ospreay then fights off Davis and grabs a bat wrapped in barbed wire from the bag and jams it into Fletcher’s forehead, then looks to hit him with it again. Fletcher then low blows Ospreay as he looks to do so, then jams a sweatband into his mouth and grabs a bat wrapped in barbed wire. Ospreay then fights it out of his hand and hits a Hidden Blade on him, then follows it up with the Storm Breaker and goes for a pin but Davis breaks the fall.

Ospreay then nails Fletcher with a hurricanrana and follows it up with a Hidden Blade on Davis using the chair. The referees then get the cage locked up again and Ospreay hits an Os Cutter on Fletcher off the side of the cage and goes for a pin. Fletcher then kicks out and grabs a screwdriver from the top of the cage and hits Ospreay with it. Ospreay then looks to hit a Styles Clash on Fletcher, but Fletcher counters it into a Brainbuster and hits a second one on Ospreay on top of the chair. Fletcher then goes for a pin, but Ospreay kicks out.

Fletcher then dumps a back of tacks out into the ring, but Ospreay hits a hurricanrana on Fletcher and follows it up with a Styles Clash on top of the tacks and goes for a pin. Fletcher then kicks out and looks to climbs out of the cage. Ospreay then joins Fletcher on the top of the cage, then wrestles the screwdriver away from him. Ospreay then hits Fletcher in the eye with a screwdriver, then sends himself and Fletcher crashing off the top of the cage with a Spanish Fly. Ospreay then nails Fletcher with a Hidden Blade, then sends him crashing into the mat spine first for the win.

After the match, Ospreay is shown having a hard time putting weight on one of his feet as he exits the cage and goes down the steps. Ospreay then heads to the stage and plays to the fans, then holds his left hip while heading to the back. Trainers then tend to Fletcher in the ring.

We then see Tony Schiavone speaking with Queen of the Ring director Ash Avildsen and actresses Damaris Lewis and Kelli Berglund, who are in the front row. Avildsen says he wanted to give the actresses a chance to talk about pro wrestling. Lewis then says the one thing she learned about pro wrestling is that you all know you a going to win before everybody else does so thank you for teaching me that. Berglund then encourages viewers to go see the movie in theaters.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the main event of the PPV, which is an AEW World Championship Match.

AEW World Championship Match: The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley (c) vs. “The Rated R Superstar” Cope

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other. Moxley then flips off Cope and Cope hits Moxley. Both men then trade elbows. Cope then hits a clothesline on Moxley that sends him over the top rope and follows it up with a dropkick through the ropes. Cope then goes up top and dives onto Moxley at ringside. Moxley then goes for a piledriver, but Cope blocks it and backdrops Moxley over the top rope to the floor. Cope then jumps from the apron and clotheslines Moxley. Moxley then responds by pulling Cope’s arm into the ring post. Moxley then slams the back of Cope’s head into the barricade several times.

Moxley then hits Cope with a neckbreaker on the apron and pulls him back inside the ring. Moxley then goes for a pin on Cope, but Cope kicks out. Moxley then waits for Cope to get up and then charges at him. Cope then sidesteps Moxley and goes for a pin, but Moxley kicks out. Moxley then gets up and hits Cope with a cutter. Moxley then climbs up the ropes and plays to the crowd for some heat. The Opps are then shown watching the match in a luxury suite.

Cope then hits Moxley with an Impaler. Cope then hits a superplex on Moxley. Cope then cinches in a grindhouse submission hold on Moxley. Moxley then reaches the ropes to break the hold. Once Moxley stands up on the apron, Cope runs the ropes and spears him through the ropes all the way down to the floor. Cope then tries to send Moxley into the ring steps, but Moxley reverses it. Moxley then exposes the concrete floor. Moxley then goes for a piledriver, but Cope counters it into a backdrop. Moxley then comes right back with a knee strike and a stomp on the concrete. Moxley then cinches in a Bulldog Choke on Cope and Cope starts to pass out. Cope then reaches the bottom rope to break the hold.

Moxley then grabs a chair from outside the ring, but the referee takes it from Moxley. Cope then rolls Moxley up, but the referee misses it. Moxley then sends Cope crashing into the referee and hits him with The Death Rider. Cope and Moxley then nail each other with clotheslines. Wheeler Yuta then makes his way down to the ring and hits a Busaiku Knee on Cope. Yuta then tosses Moxley his briefcase with the AEW World Championship, but Jay White nails Yuta and delivers some right and left hands on him. White then looks to hit Moxley with the briefcase, but Moxley ducks out of the way and White accidentally hits Cope. White and Yuta then brawl to the back as Moxley goes for a pin on Cope. Cope then kicks out and hits a spear to Moxley and pins him. Moxley then kicks out, but Cope hits two more spears on him and goes for a pin. A hooded figure then pulls the referee out of the ring, revealing himself as Christian Cage.

Cage then hits Moxley with his briefcase and signs his contract for an AEW World Championship match, cashing it in to make this into a 3-Way Match. Cage then hits a spear on Cope and goes for a pin, but Cope kicks out. Cage then looks to hit the Killswitch on Cope and pins him, but Moxley cinches in a Bulldog on him and Cage passes out.

The winner of the 3-Way Match and still the AEW World Champion, The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley!

After the match, Moxley runs into Prince Nana as he looks to leave the ring. Swerve Strickland then appears above Moxley on one of the railings in the crowd and nails him with a Swerve Stomp. Strickland then stands tall as the show comes to a close.
