AEW spent a huge chunk of the October 14, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite/Collision filling out the field for Clockwork Carnage at WrestleDream, and by the end of the night, five wrestlers had officially punched their tickets.
The first qualifier saw Adam Copeland survive a rough fight with Josh Alexander. Alexander went after Copeland’s right leg, dragged him into an Ankle Lock and nearly shut him down, but Copeland stayed alive long enough to hit a spear and get the win. Pasted markdown
Konosuke Takeshita was next to move on after a physical battle with Brian Cage. Cage threw everything he had at him, but Takeshita eventually trapped him in a Dragon Sleeper and forced the tap. Pasted markdown
Kazuchika Okada also booked his spot while keeping the AEW International Championship around his waist. Myron Reed pushed him hard and even connected with a 450 Splash from the steel steps, but Okada survived and put him away with the Rainmaker. Pasted markdown
Ricochet then joined the field after beating Ace Austin. Austin gave him plenty of problems and came close several times, but Ricochet shut the door with a Spirit Gun followed by Vertigo to score the victory. Pasted markdown
The final qualifying match of the night came in the main event, where Darby Allin defended the TNT Championship against Hechicero. Hechicero spent much of the match tearing apart Allin’s left knee, but Darby kept fighting and eventually connected with two Coffin Drops to retain the title and advance. Pasted markdown
That means Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet and Darby Allin all earned their way into Clockwork Carnage at WrestleDream, giving AEW one seriously stacked field heading into Saturday’s pay-per-view. With five major names now locked in, Clockwork Carnage is shaping up to be one of the most loaded matches on the entire WrestleDream card.
