Xanti Li may have only wrestled once for ROH so far, but it looks like that won’t be her last appearance. A new backstage report indicates there’s interest on both sides, even if a contract hasn’t been signed just yet.
According to False Finish, there is currently mutual interest between Xanti Li and AEW/ROH. While Li has not officially signed with the company, she’s expected to continue making appearances on ROH programming.
Li made her ROH debut on the September 21 episode of ROH on HonorClub, teaming with Dream Girl Ellie against Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata. Although her team came up short, the performance quickly caught the attention of fans, with many taking to social media afterwards to praise Li and call for AEW or ROH to sign her full-time.
Before arriving in ROH, Li had built experience across several independent promotions, including WWN, SHINE and Pro Wrestling Action. She also challenged Amber Nova for the MWO Women’s Championship earlier this year and picked up a singles victory over Katalina Perez in April.
While there’s no word yet on when a contract might happen, the report suggests both sides are interested in continuing the relationship. For now, fans can apparently expect to keep seeing Xanti Li on ROH while discussions continue behind the scenes.
