Winners: Cody & Dustin Rhodes

Tony Schiavone comes into the ring to interview Cody. He asks Cody what his response is to MJF. Arn Anderson steps in and he says he doesn’t know how MJF thinks he has the stroke to lay down stipulations. He asks if somebody died and made MJF God. He says Cody wants the match and they’ll get back to him next week.

*Commercial Break*

MJF and Wardlow make their way to the ring. MJF is mad and he yells that he already told Cody the rules. He counts down from 10-1 and says he Cody is a bitch. Instead of Cody though, it’s DDP that comes out!

DDP gets in the ring and introduces himself. He says he if you’d told him nine years ago that he would be live on TNT on AEW, he wouldn’t believe it. Well he’s here tonight to address the situation with MJF – who is on his phone in the corner. DDP asks if he’s coming back for one more match but MJF cuts him off and says he couldn’t lace his boots. DDP throws the microphone and gets in his face but MJF tolds him to hold up. He says he doesn’t want to face DDP, but these guys do…

The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny come to the ring. MJF says WCW is dead, just like most of DDP’s fans. MJF says DDP has two options; he can kiss his ring, or he can get his ass beat by them. MJF talks about sleeping with DDP’s daughter, so the former WCW Champion grabs him by the throat. They start attacking DDP but he takes out most of them with Diamond Cutters but MJF shoves him and MJF kicks him in the gnards. Officials run down and stop it.

Jungle Boy comes in but Cassidy dropkicks him and kips up. Cassidy then hits a suicide dive onto Jurassic Express before getting in the ring and giving a thumbs up.

Jungle Boy comes back and attacks them, but Cassidy hits him with a splash from the top rope for a near-fall. Marko returns and takes out both Trent and Chuck with tilt-a-whirl DDT’s. Luchasauras throws Marko with the Prehistoric Press to Best Friends at ringside. Meanwhile Jungle Boy hits Taylor with a hurricanrana roll-up for the win!

Winners: Jurassic Express

Le Champion, Chris Jericho, makes his way to the ring with Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager.

*Commercial Break*

We’re back live and Chris Jericho immediately invites Jon Moxley to the ring. Mox acquiesces and comes through the crowd, with Jericho praising him the entire way.

Moxley is in the ring and they have a table set-up with some bubbly on it. Jericho says January 8th is a big day, and not because it’s the birthday of Elvis, because he was a jackass. More importantly, this is the date Jon Moxley gives his answer about whether he’s joining The Inner Circle. Jericho says the car is all gassed up and he holds the keys up, and says Santana and Ortiz have cordoned off a nearby street for an all-night party. So, will he be a part of The Inner Circle?

Moxley says he’s had all week to think and a lot more went into the decision than we probably think. Moxley says nobody really knows what makes him tick, and that includes Jericho. Jon says he doesn’t care about cars, stocks, or money. That’s not why he came to AEW. He can’t be bought. He came to AEW to run rough-shod over professional wrestling, and that’s why he’s saying yes!

Moxley says he came to dominate and there’s no more dominant force in wrestling than The Inner Circle. Jericho yells that he told us this would happen. Moxley says if you want to be great, you have to learn from the greats. And these pea-brains might not admit it, but Chris Jericho is the greatest of all-time. He says he will align himself with The Inner Circle and dominate AEW for years to come, so crack open some bubbly. Jericho, Moxley, Hager, and Guevara celebrate by drinking some bubbly and spraying it everywhere.

Jericho says this is the beginning of The Inner Circle dominating. Then shares more drinks with Moxley, who suddenly says we forgot something. He asks for the keys to the car and Jericho hands them over. The fans chant “you sold out”, but Moxley says he has a 2015 Dodge RAM that he intended to run to the rubber but now he has the gift of Jericho. Y2J says Moxley has sold-out, sold-out every arena in the country and dominated the Tokyo Dome. They drink more champagne, and Sammy leaves with Hager.

Moxley stops Jericho and says he forgot one thing. He would never join The Inner Circle because it’s a stupid group and he has the one thing he wants. Moxley then cracks Jericho over the head with a bottle of the bubbly! Guevara runs in and Moxley hits the Paradigm Shift on him. Hager runs in and Moxley leaves the ring to run through the crowd. The show ends with Moxley revealing he still has the Ford GT keys.

And that’s it for AEW Dynamite. Let us know what you thought and come back tomorrow for more wrestling news. Until then, safe travels!
