The show opens up with commentary welcoming us as Rocky Romero makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Kenny Omega then makes his way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with Rocky Romero jumping Kenny Omega, but Omega makes his comeback. Omega then unloads on Romero. Omega then goes for the V-Trigger, but Romero avoids it. Romero then kicks Omega down after using the referee as a leverage. Romero then drops Omega on the mat and gets a two count. Romero then corners Omega and hits him with a couple of lariats.
Omega then stops Romero with a high boot. Romero then counters a snap dragon suplex before Omega hits Romero with a V-Trigger. Omega then hits a snap dragon suplex and follows it up with a V-Trigger. Omega then hits Romero with the One-Winged Angel for the win.

After the match, Tony Schiavone says Omega is among the top four competitors for MJF’s AEW World Title. Schiavone then says the others include “Hangman” Adam Page, Swerve Strickland and Andrade El Idolo and one of these men will challenge MJF at Grand Slam Australia. Schiavone then says the winner of Strickland and Andrade El Idolo later tonight will face Omega next week on Dynamite.
Kenny Omega then says he is feeling very good currently and effectively vows to reclaim the AEW World Title. Hangman Page then interrupts him. Page says he will become the next world champion, among a few other other. Swerve Strickland then makes his way out and makes a similar claim. Omega then says he feels there is a animosity between him and Strickland. Omega then asks Strickland if he is looking for a fight and Strickland agrees.
Don Callis then interrupts and he says Andrade El Idolo will defeat Swerve Strickland and come after Kenny Omega next week. Callis then calls out Hangman Page as well. Loud boos for Callis start as he says the Don Callis Family will run AEW. Kenny Omega then chases after Callis to end the segment.
We then get a video of Kris Statlander and Babes of Wrath, where Babes of Wrath agree to give Skye Blue and Julia Hart an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship shot this coming Saturday on Collision as long as they stay in the back tonight.
Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Ace Austin follows.
The match starts off with Jon Moxley kicking Ace Austin’s teeth in. Moxley then corners Austin and follows it up with chops. Moxley then unloads with right hand strikes on Austin. Austin then tries for a comeback and applies a side headlock. He then gets a two count with a crucifix pin. After some back-and-forth, Austin hits a dropkick on Moxley. The action then spills to the outside. Austin then dominates Moxley before both men return to the ring. Austin then works on Moxley’s knee to maintain control. Austin then applies an armbar on Moxley. Moxley then reverses the submission and gets a two count.
Moxley then hits some shoulder tackles in the corner on Austin. Moxley then hits Austin with a superplex. Moxley then hits a lariat on Austin, but Austin turns things around with a clothesline of his own. Austin then hits a leg drop on Moxley and follows it up with repeated shots in the corner. Moxley then stops Austin with a clothesline. Both men then exchange near falls. Austin then hits a hook kick on Moxley and plants him on the mat for a two count. Austin then hits Moxley with another kick for a near fall. Moxley then stops Austin with a cutter and hits Austin with a Death Rider for the win.

After the match, Konosuke Takeshita’s music hits and he makes his way out. He then stares Moxley down and points to the Continental Championship belt, but Mark Davis and Jake Doyle sneak up behind Moxley and take him out.
El Clon then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Mark Briscoe follows.
The match starts off with both men locking up and we get a back-and-forth before El Clon hits Briscoe with an elbow strike. Briscoe then makes his comeback and introduces a steel chair in the match. El Clon then stops Briscoe and throws the chair, but Briscoe avoids any damage from the chair. Briscoe then hits scissor kicks through the ropes on El Clon before taking El Clon down to the floor. El Clon then traps Briscoe in the apron to make his comeback. El Clon then slams Briscoe into the steel steps and kicks Briscoe on the chest.
Briscoe then tries to make his comeback, but El Clon continues to have the upperhand. El Clon then stomps on Briscoe. El Clon then corners Briscoe and unloads him with his boot. El Clon then gets a two count on Briscoe with a Lionsault. Briscoe then turns the tables on El Clon and hits him with a dive to the outside. El Clon then kicks Briscoe, but Briscoe unloads El Clon with left jabs. El Clon then hits a roundhouse kick to stagger Briscoe before both men take each other down.
Both men then exchange strikes before Briscoe hits El Clon with a fisherman’s bomb. Briscoe then hits the Froggy Bow on El Clon, but El Clon kicks out at two. Briscoe then hits El Clon with the Jay Driller, but El Clon stands up. El Clon then dominates Briscoe. He then hits a diving foot stomp. Briscoe then counters a Portal Bomb and rolls up El Clon for the win.

After the match, Mark Briscoe says “Hell Yeah!” Briscoe then says from the beginning he doesn’t duck or dodge and he will be back in Texas Saturday night and loves the concept of the TNT open challenge, but nobody from the Don Callis Family because he is tired of them. The lights then go out and we see a heartbeat on the big screen. The lights then go out again and it is “The Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa. He will be challenging Mark Briscoe on Saturday. Ciampa then walks out to a huge ovation as Briscoe looks concerned.
Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring as the huge ovation continues. Ciampa then enters the ring as we get a “holy s—” chant. Ciampa then tells Briscoe he is coming for hm on Saturday, then kisses Briscoe and walks out of the ring. Ciampa then hops on the announce desk as he looks at Briscoe signaling his time is coming. Ciampa then leaves for the back, while waving at Briscoe.
We then see Renee Paquette backstage and she welcomes Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada. Okada says when it came to the screw driver at Worlds End he was not thinking. Okada then says he wanted to face Fletcher in the finals and did not mean to hurt him. Okada then says he is sorry. Fletcher then says that he accepts Okada’s apology. Both men then shake hands.
AEW World Champion MJF then makes his way down to the ring. MJF takes some shots at the fans before Brody King interrupts him. MJF then calls King “big and stupid,” leading to King charging down the ring. MJF then says he wants to talk it out like professionals. MJF then says he needs to beat someone noteworthy to earn a title shot. MJF then says King is following him just like he did with Malakai Black. MJF then says King followed Buddy Matthews as well and he takes a dig at his knee injury. MJF then disrespects King for following Bandido.
MJF then says maybe King could follow him and he could give King a makeover. MJF then takes multiple shots at King. King then responds by saying he doesn’t need to follow anybody. King then says all of the names MJF mentioned were his friends. King then announces that he will face MJF in an AEW World Championship Eliminator Match next week and if he wins, he will get a chance against MJF at Grand Slam Australia.
We then get a video package on The Young Bucks, where they say it’s time to go back to their roots and they put the entire tag team division on notice.
Thekla then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Kris Statlander follows.
The match starts off with both women locking up and exchanging some stiff strikes. Thekla then rolls out of the ring to slow things down. Statlander then chops her before Thekla counters her. Statlander then hits a leg drop on the apron on Thekla. Statlander then hits a delayed vertical suplex on the floor on Thekla. Statlander then catapults Thekla into the steel steps. Statlander then looks to enter the ring, but Thekla comes in steaming with a big boot. Thekla then follows it up with a diving stomp on the floor. Thekla then sends Statlander into the steps.
Thekla then grabs Statlander by the hair and sends her crashing into the barricade. Back in the ring, Thekla gets a couple of near falls over Statlander. Thekla then continues to have all the momentum and Statlander briefly fights back before Thekla traps her on the ropes. Statlander then sends Thekla into the turnbuckle before unloading on her. Statlander then hits Thekla with a michinoku driver and gets a two count. Thekla then kicks Statlander in the face, but Statlander takes Thekla down with a lariat.
Thekla then stops Statlander’s 450 splash. Both women then battle on the turnbuckle. Thekla then hits Statlander with a spider suplex. Thekla then follows it up with a diving crossbody to the floor and Statlander is struggling. Kris Statlander kicks out of a cover. Thekla connects with a spear on Statlander. Both women then get up on their feet. Thekla then spits on Statlander. Thekla then applies a submission and wrenches Statlander’s arm. Thekla then gets a two count after a stomp on Statlander. Statlander then counters another spear and kicks Thekla. Both women then counter each other. Statlander then hits Thekla with a gut-wrench powerbomb and follows it up with the Staturday Night Fever for the win.

After the match, Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron make their way out to celebrate with Kris Statlander. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford then stare them down from the entrance ramp.
We then head to the back with Don Callis, Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher. Callis tells Takeshita he needs to take Fletcher’s lead and forgive Okada. Takeshita then asks Fletcher if he forgave Okada and he walks off.
We then get a vignette featuring Jack Perry as the next challenger to Ricochet for the AEW National Title. We then go to an earlier today with The Demand as they have Jack Perry tied up. He then tries to escape, but GOA take him out as Ricochet tells GOA to get him after sending him down. They then put him through a table.
Mark Davis and Jake Doyle then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and FTR follow.
The match starts off with Cash Wheeler and Jake Doyle and Doyle overpowers Wheeler early on before Mark Davis is tagged in. Wheeler then backs Davis up to their corner and tags in Dax Harwood. Harwood and Davis then have a stiff exchange. Davis and Doyle then dominate FTR at ringside, using Wheeler as a battering ram and sending him onto Harwood. Davis then sends Harwood back in the ring and hits him with chops. Davis then sends Harwood into the corner and gets a two count. Jake Doyle is then tagged in.
FTR then make their comeback, but it is short lived. Davis and Harwood then exchange some chops. Harwood then hits some lariats but to no effect. Davis then hits a leaping enzuigiri and follows it up with a running lariat. Doyle then takes Wheeler down. Davis and Doyle then hit some splashes on FTR in the corner. Wheeler then comes in and nails Doyle on the apron. Harwood then hits Davis with a suplex and Wheeler follows it up with a splash for a two count.
Davis sends Wheeler to the outside and applies a sleeper on Harwood. Daniel Garcia, Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir then appear at ringside. Garcia then distracts the referee as Moxley blasts Davis with his title belt. FTR then take advantage of the commotion and hit the Shatter Machine on Davis for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is talking to Orange Cassidy and his focus is on Wheeler Yuta. Cassidy then questions who Yuta is now compared to five years ago. Yuta then comes in to interrupt Cassidy. Marina Shafir then comes in and grabs Cassidy by the hair. Toni Storm then comes in and gets in the face of Shafir. Security then comes in and breaks things up.
Swerve Strickland then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Andrade El Idolo follows.
The match starts off with both men locking up and we get some exchanges. El Idolo then applies a side headlock and takes Strickland down. Strickland then shoves El Idolo. Both men then show off their athleticism and counter each other. Strickland then takes El Idolo down with a hurricanrana from the ropes. Strickland then goes for a dive, but El Idolo dodges it and slams Strickland into the steel steps. El Idolo then flirts with a female fan at ringside, but still has complete control of this match. Strickland then turns things around with some strikes, but El Idolo stops him in his tracks.
El Idolo then applies a rear chin lock on Strickland to wear him down. El Idolo then decks Strickland and follows it up with a tornillo. El Idolo then gets a two count on Strickland with a standing moonsault. El Idolo then derails Strickland’s momentum with a big boot. Strickland then picks El Idolo up on his shoulder and hits him with a death valley driver on the apron. El Idolo then makes his comeback with a back body drop over the guardrail. Both men then collapse to the floor. Both men then somehow make their way back to the ring by the count of nine.
After some back-and-forth, El Idolo looks for the double knee strikes, but Strickland responds with a House Call for only a two count. El Idolo then drops Strickland from the turnbuckles with a hurricanrana. He then immediately follows it up with a double knee strike in the corner, but only gets a two count. El Idolo then hits Strickland with a hammerlock DDT, but only gets a two count once again. Both men then counter each other. Strickland then hits another House Call, but El Idolo hangs on to Aubrey Edwards. El Idolo then hits a low blow behind the referee’s back and follows it up with the Message on Strickland for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette asks MJF how he feels about facing Brody King in the eliminator match. Kenny Omega then comes in and says he is just a win away from facing him for the title. Omega then goes to shake MJF’s hand, but he walks off. Andrade El Idolo then stops him and tells him he wants the world title. MJF then leaves the building and goes to get in a vehicle, but he is confronted by Hangman Page. MJF then gets in the car and tells the driver to go as Page has a serious look on his face and the show comes to a close.
