The show opens up with commentary welcoming us and they hype up the card for Dynamite as we head to ringside for the first match of the night.
The Death Riders then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Don Callis Family follows as we take a look back to Collision on Saturday and the brawl between the Death Riders and the Don Callis Family.
The match starts off with Castagnoli and Hechicero and Hechicero takes Castagnoli to the mat. Castagnoli then goes back after Hechicero and this leads to an exchange of holds between the two. Hechicero then manages to break free of a wristlock, mocking Castagnoli before taking him down with a shoulder tackle for a two count. Castagnoli is back on his feet, taking the fight back to Hechicero as he blocks a dropkick to keep him down for a near fall of his own. Hechicero is back on the attack until Moxley gets the tag, but there’s a bit of a pause as Hechicero backs away.
We then get Moxley and Takeshita as the legal men in the ring, staring each other down before hitting the ropes to see who can knock the other down with a shoulder tackle. Takeshita then wins this exchange, but Moxley fights back to his feet for a tag to Castagnoli. Castagnoli then takes a leg lariat from Takeshita, who tags in Hechicero. Moxley then comes in for a double team, but is fended off by Hechicero who hits a modified headscissors on Castagnoli for a near fall. Castagnoli then retreats to the outside.
After some back-and-forth, Hechicero hits a crossbody on Castagnoli. Takeshita then comes in with a flurry of offense. Takeshita then sends Castagnoli to the outside. Takeshita then counters a sleeper and he hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Moxley for a two count. Moxley and Takeshita then exchange blows. Castagnoli then intercepts Takeshita with an uppercut. Moxley then takes advantage and traps Takeshita in a cross-face and Takeshita forces a rope break. Takeshita then hits a knee strike on Moxley. Castagnoli and Hechicero then battle it out. Castagnoli then hits a running European Uppercut on the outside. Hechicero then counters Castagnoli and gets a near fall as Moxley breaks it up.
The action then continues as Castagnoli gets a two count on Hechicero after a Giant Swing. Hechicero then nails Castagnoli and gets a two count after a leg drop. The referee almost gets taken out and Castagnoli takes advantage of the situation and pokes Hechicero in the eye. Castagnoli then rolls Hechicero up for the win.
The winners of the Tag Team Match, The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli)!
After the match, the celebration is short-lived as Lance Archer makes his way down to the ring followed by the rest of the Don Callis Family as they go after both men in the ring. Marina Shafir then comes into the ring and is laid out by Archer as Takeshita is handed a steel chair, but he refuses to use it and he drops the chair instead. This then gets the rest of the Family riled up until Don Callis tries to defuse the situation. Everyone but Takeshita leaves the ring, with Takeshita letting Moxley know he wants the title on Sunday before leaving the ring himself.
We then head to the back, where we hear from Willow Nightingale and Persephone. They are set to face each other for Nightingale’s TBS Title later tonight and they have a friendly chat about who hit harder in beating Mercedes Moné for their respective titles and they wish each other luck in the match before walking off.
We then take a look at what’s to come tonight, with Kyle Fletcher defending the TNT Title against “Speedball” Mike Bailey up next.
We then head to the back,, where Don Callis hypes Kyle Fletcher up until MJF interrupts. MJF asks Fletcher to do him a favor and beat up Bailey, but Fletcher doesn’t take kindly to this as he tells MJF he’s going to beat Bailey up for himself. MJF then tells Callis he’d better teach his boys how to speak to the World Champion before walking off and Fletcher tells Callis he hopes Callis isn’t working for MJF. Callis then assures Fletcher that isn’t the case as Dynamite rolls on.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Kyle Fletcher follows.
The match starts off with both men locking up.
