Plus, Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher will face “Hangman” Adam Page in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Semifinal Match.

AEW Dynamite Results (4/30/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz welcoming us as pyro shoots off at the top of the stage. Excalibur tells us we are diving straight into the action and we get the entrances of the first match of the night.

All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match: AEW International Champion “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega, Mark Briscoe, “Speedball” Mike Bailey and “The Jet” Kevin Knight vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson), AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada and Ricochet

The match starts off with Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega getting in each other’s faces and they continue staring each other down. Okada then tags in Nicholas Jackson and Matthew Jackson, Okada and Ricochet then nails Omega, Bailey, Knight and Briscoe. Nicholas then hits a chop on Omega, then follows it up with an arm drag. Okada then tags back in and continues wearing down Omega’s arm with some assistance from Matthew, then tags in Ricochet.

Matthew then accidentally wears down Ricochet’s arm, thinking it is Omega. Matthew then smacks Ricochet on the head and Omega follows suit. Speedball then tags in and double teams on Ricochet with Knight, but Knight tags in and both men double team on Ricochet with a double bodyslam and a double dropkick. Briscoe and Nicholas then tag in and Nicholas sends Briscoe into the corner. Matthew then hits a kick on his spine, but Briscoe responds with a bodyslam on Ricochet. All eight men then begin brawling with one another.

Ricochet the nails Omega, Knight and Briscoe on the apron. Matthew and Ricochet then hits a couple of suplexes on Bailey, then tags in Nicholas. Nicholas then continues wearing down Speedball, then tags in Ricochet. Ricochet then sends Speedball crashing into the mat, then tags in Okada. Okada then sets up for a Brainbuster on Speedball, but Knight and Briscoe come to his aid. The Elite and Ricochet then hit simultaneous Brainbusters on Omega, Speedball, Knight and Briscoe, but Omega, Speedball, Knight and Briscoe fly to land on The Elite and Ricochet on the outside.

Nicholas and Knight then tag in and Knight hits Nicholas with a couple of clotheslines. Knight then flies off the middle rope to take down Nicholas, then looks to hit a standing splash. Nicholas then gets his knees up, but Omega and Matthew tag in. The Elite and Ricochet then team up to take down Omega and Speedball.

Omega then looks to tag out but Ricochet, Okada and Nicholas pull his teammates off the apron. Matthew and Briscoe then tag in and Briscoe runs over Matthew. Okada then tags in and hits an elbow drop off the top rope on Briscoe, but everyone begins brawling with one another. Okada and Omega then deliver some strikes on one another, but Omega hits a Snap Dragon suplex on Okada. Okada then responds with a dropkick on Omega and The Young Bucks nail Omega with a double superkick. The Elite and Ricochet then hit assisted piledrivers to take out Omega, Speedball, Knight and Briscoe on the apron.

Omega then takes flight off the top to nail The Young Bucks and Ricochet on the outside and Briscoe hits a rolling Death Valley Driver on Okada. He then climbs up the top rope, but Ricochet pushes him off. This then opens the door for Okada to hit The Rainmaker on Briscoe for the win as Omega is held back from breaking up the fall.

We then head to the back, where The Hurt Syndicate run into a bunch of local enhancement talent. The Hurt Syndicate then attack them and Bobby Lashley sends one of them crashing into a large basket before MVP advocates for MJF to join The Hurt Syndicate as he reminds Lashley and Shelton Benjamin that he’s never steered them wrong and they can take care of MJF should he choose to betray them.

The Opps then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Rhett Titus, Nick Comoroto and Myles Hawkins are already waiting inside.

Non-Title Match: AEW World Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata) vs. Rhett Titus, Nick Comoroto and Myles Hawkins

The match starts off with Samoa Joe and Titus. Joe hits Titus with a chop. Joe then delivers some kicks on him in the corner, then nails him with an enzuigiri and tags in Katsuyori Shibata. Comoroto then tags in on his side and exchanges chops with Shibata, but Shibata runs over Comoroto with a boot. Hawkins then tags in and Shibata hits a kick on his spine, then tags in Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs then delivers some clotheslines on Hawkins in the corner, then nails him with another one and follows it up with a spinebuster for the win.

The winners of the Non-Title Match, AEW World Trios Champions The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata)!

After the match, The Death Riders blindside The Opps. Joe then locks in a Sleeper on Moxley on the entrance ramp, but Claudio Castagnoli distracts Joe by placing Shibata’s head in a chair and forcing Joe to come to his aid. Joe then grabs a microphone and says Moxley talks a big game but always seems to back down when they throw hands. Joe then says he’s been trying to give Moxley what he wants in one-on-one action, but it seems like Moxley no longer wants that and challenges Moxley to make their AEW World Championship match at the Dynamite Beach Break special a steel cage match. Joe then says he will be the next AEW World Champion.

Mercedes Moné is interviewed by Renee Paquette. Mercedes says she is on a global mission and the Owen Hart Cup tournament is about her and her legacy. Renee then asks about Jamie Hayter’s size and strength advantage and Mercedes points to the fact that she is undefeated. Moné then says the wrestling world runs on Moné Time and insults Hayter for her Scooby Doo style, then says a champion can’t look like a cartoon.

We then see Renee Paquette interviewing The Patriarchy and she asks Nick Wayne about representing The Patriarchy and AEW in the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament in New Japan. Christian Cage then insists all questions should be asked to him, but he is interrupted by Jay Lethal wanting to see if the champ is ready to prove himself by defending the title tonight. Wayne then tries to avoid it, before Cage accepts on his behalf. Wayne is then upset as Jay wishes him luck before walking off.

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Miyu Yamashita follows.

AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match: AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Miyu Yamashita

The match starts off with both women locking up. Miyu then puts Storm in a side headlock, but Storm fights out of it and wrenches the arm of Miyu. Miyu then counters with some kicks forcing Storm to the ropes. Storm then fights back with a Lou Thesz press and follows it up with a backbreaker and a snap suplex. Storm then heads up top, but is intercepted by a kick from Miyu and Storm regroups on the floor outside.

Yamashita then goes for another kick, but is cut off by Storm. Miyu then dodges a hip attack on the ring post and hits some hard strikes on the back side of Storm. Luther then tries to intervene, but is shoved away. Miyu then sends Storm out to the floor at ringside. Storm then dodges an attack, leading to a trade of strikes between Storm and Miyu. Miyu then goes for a waist-lock, but it is countered with a back elbow, which allows Storm to hit a release German suplex on Miyu. Miyu then hits a spinning back kick on Storm.

Miyu then goes for a cover, but Storm kicks out at two. Storm then hits a Sky High for a near fall and follows it up with a Northern Lights suplex for another near fall. Storm then hits her Storm Zero finisher for the win.

The winner of the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match, AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm!

After the match, Mercedes Moné appears and gets on the microphone. Moné tells the crowd to shut up and say hello. Moné then addressed Storm and says she will come for what she deserves after she wins the Owen Cup. Jamie Hayter then appears and Moné takes a shot at her. Hayter then blocks it and punches Moné, who runs away.Toni Storm then dances to Jamie Hayter’s music.

We then head to the back, where Don Callis brags about Brody King and Will Ospreay being beaten by Takeshita and Alexander last week. Calls then says Kyle Fletcher will continue their streak and Kyle Fletcher will defeat Hangman Page. Fletcher then says he could go on to defeat Will Ospreay again and then become the AEW World Champion at All In then everyone will be forced to put respect on his name.

The Hurt Syndicate (AEW World Tag Team Champions “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley and “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin and MVP) then make their way down to the ring. MVP starts off by mentioning the thumbs up / thumbs down thing again regarding the potential addition of a fourth member to The Hurt Syndicate. MVP then asks the fans to help him in welcoming MJF and MJF makes his way down to the ring. MJF then says to cut his music. MJF then made his way to the ring. MJF then complimented Benjamin and calls MVP one of his oldest friends in wrestling. MJF then addresses Bob and gives him a stern look. MVP then rushes to the vote. MVP and Shelton Benjamin give their thumbs up, but Lashley still gives his thumbs down. MJF then says he’s sick of Lashley, then asks him what exactly he wants as he becomes increasingly irritated. Lashley then grabs MJF by his ears and reminds him that The Hurt Syndicate hurts people. He then says if MJF wants to impress him, then he needs to hurt someone. The Hurt Syndicate then leaves and MVP tells MJF he runs his mouth too much.

We then get a video package on FTR and Stokely Hathaway.

Nick Wayne then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Christian’s entrance music cuts off Wayne’s and the rest of the Patriarchy heads to the ring. They are followed by Jay Lethal.

ROH World TV Championship Match: The Patriarchy’s Nick Wayne (c) vs. Jay Lethal

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other and locking up. Both men then go back and forth. Lethal then hits a tope suicida on Wayne to land on him on the outside, but Wayne sends Lethal crashing into the ring steps.

Lethal then climbs up the top rope and hits an elbow drop on Wayne. Wayne then counters into a pinfall on Lethal, but Lethal kicks out and gets Wayne up on his shoulders. Wayne then rakes Lethal’s eyes, then follows it up with an inverter Fisherman’s Buster for the win.

The winner and still ROH World TV Champion, The Patriarchy’s Nick Wayne!

After the match, Christian Cage grabs the ROH World Television Championship belt and places it around Wayne’s waist, then slowly applauds him along with Kip Sabian.

Excalibur then confirms that Jon Moxley vs. Samoa Joe will take place in a Steel Cage Match and we get a video package for Double or Nothing on May 25th.

Kyle Fletcher then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Hangman Page follows. 

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Semifinal Match: Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher vs. “Hangman” Adam Page

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other and locking up. Fletcher then wears down Page with a side headlock. Page then runs over Fletcher with a boot, then clotheslines him over the barricade near the timekeeper’s area on the outside.

Fletcher then delivers some kicks on Page’s chest and face. Page then turns Fletcher inside out with a lariat, then hits him with a Fallaway Slam and a clothesline using the ropes that sends Fletcher crashing onto the floor. Both men then brawl on the apron, but Fletcher hits a Brainbuster on Page on the ring apron and drags Page up to the barricade. Page then sends Fletcher crashing into the barricade face first, then follows it up with a piledriver on Fletcher onto the floor.

Fletcher and Page then exchange right hands with one another. Fletcher then hits a Snap Dragon suplex on Page, but Page responds with a pop-up sit-out powerbomb on Fletcher and goes for a pin. Fletcher then kicks out, but Page responds with a Dead Eye on Fletcher and goes for a pin. Fletcher then kicks out and hits a sit-out powerbomb on Page and goes for a pin of his own, but Page kicks out.

Fletcher then hits Page with a kick on his jaw, then follows it up with a commigiri. Page then responds with a second Dead Eye on Fletcher on the apron, but Fletcher hits a Brainbuster on Page back inside the ring and pins him. Page then kicks out and hits clotheslines on Fletcher as they teeter on the ropes. Page then sends Fletcher cashing into the mat with a clothesline, then hits a second one and follows it up with the Buckshot Lariat for the win.

After the match, Hangman stands tall and celebrates and the show comes to a close.
