AEW Dynamite Results (3/12/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Taz welcoming us. New AEW International Champion Kenny Omega’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

Kenny Omega starts off by saying this is all still so wild to him as before 2025 he was more than happy just to stand in the ring to say he was cleared to try and do this again. Omega then says what makes it feel like a dream is that they are barely into the year, but thanks to the fans, doctors, someone he never thought he would call a friend, Will Ospreay, not only is he back, but he’s back with a singles title. Omega then says one final person he needs to thank, controversial as it may be, is Konosuke Takeshita, who pushed him harder than he ever imagined. Omega then says if it wasn’t for Takeshita dragging him to the place he needed to be, he wouldn’t be here in front of these people, so he thanks Takeshita for making this a true International Title. Omega then brings up Tony Khan coming up with the International Title Eliminator Tournament and thinks it’s a great idea as it will determine who is the best on the planet and he will be watching as he wants to see who will look to being the best. Omega then says his goodbye and goodnight line as he signs some autographs and does some high fives fans before The Opps make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and have a little face-off with Omega before heading to the ring.

We then head to the back, where Ricochet says despite being screwed at Revolution it doesn’t mean his quest for gold is over. Ricochet then says he didn’t want the ugly ass Embassy robe anyways, but the gold Kenny Omega is holding looks much better. Ricochet then says he knows what Shibata is capable of so he’s giving him an option to quit before their match, if not, he won’t be responsible for what happens to him on Saturday.

We then get a video package recapping last Sunday’s AEW Revolution PPV.

We are then told Jon Moxley will face “The Rated R Superstar” Cope next week in a Street Fight for the AEW World Title, with the winner facing Swerve Strickland at Dynasty. Cameras then caught up to Strickland last Sunday as he was asked by the cameraman when he wants to challenge for the AEW World Title. Strickland says last year at Dynasty he became the first black AEW World Champion and this year he looks to do it twice. Cope then shows up and says he didn’t lose tonight and there is still a chance he could be AEW World Champion before Dynasty gets here and there is a chance Strickland will be looking across the ring at him at the PPV. Strickland then says that’s exactly what he will do too and they fist bump before Cope walks away and Strickland gives a little nod of respect.

Moxley then says he was mad at himself for putting Cope away before Christian got involved. Moxley then says he admires Cope for coming forward even after he knew he hurt him, but he doesn’t respect anybody who complains about the rules. Moxley then says he will take the rules and throw out Cope’s excuses. A graphic then appears that says Cope will face Moxley in a street fight for the AEW Championship next week in Omaha.

Cage and Hobbs then look to nail each other with clotheslines, but both stay standing. Hobbs then hits Cage with a shoulder tackle, then nails him with a powerslam. Dralistico then tags in and Cage hits Hobbs with a superplex, then Dralistico flies to land on him. Hobbs then hits a running slam on Dralistico, then looks to fly off the top. Hobbs then counters into a powerslam for the win.

We then get a video package highlighting the Hollywood Ending Match for the AEW Women’s World Championship between “Timeless” Toni Storm and “The Glamour” Mariah May.

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm then makes her way to the stage. Storm says she had stitches in her lip, staples in her head and glass in her ass, but this tramp is still the champ. Storm then says Revolution was her Hollywood Ending and part of her heart will be gone forever, but it was well worth it. Storm then says it was time for a new beginning and this is the most talented locker room in the history of pro wrestling. Storm then says the other world title is in a briefcase and they have belt collectors and forever champions. Storm then says fighting with her is like a zoo because she bleeds like a pig and fights like a lion, but she’s no p***y. Storm then says nobody swings like her so put your keys in the bowl and lets get this orgy started. As Storm drops the mic, she is attacked from behind and left laying on the ground by Megan Bayne.

The Beast Mortos then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and his opponent, which makes his way down to the ring next and is a wildcard is none other than “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette asks Christian Cage about his contract cash in on Sunday. Christian refuses to speak to Renee because she is related to Jon Moxley. Once she leaves, Christian says the referee screwed him because he demanded a one on one title match with Cope, but instead he made it a 3-Way. Christian then demands his contract be returned to him and claims he will still be world champion one day. Nick Wayne then stands up to him and tells Christian he was making excuses and should have stuck to their original plan and he will be World Champion. Christian then gets in his face and tells him he wasn’t a loser like his biological father. Christian then says he and his loser Dad knew nothing about winning world championships. Christian then says the next time they have this conversation will be the last time and he will be the AEW Champion one day if it’s the last thing he does on this earth.

We then get a video from AEW Revolution of MJF calling himself a fraud into a mirror after his match with Hangman Page. MJF then makes his way down to the ring. MVP then offers a history lesson about meeting MJF when he was 18 years old. MVP then recalls MJF driving him around for a documentary film for the low low price of asking him questions in the car. MVP then says he is proud of MJF because he did everything he said he was going to do, including becoming a Heavyweight level Champion.

MVP then says he wasn’t proud of what happened to MJF on Sunday because he was out here whining instead of hiring people. MVP then says MJF lost his edge and the boys in the back no longer respect or fear him. MVP then says that’s what MJF is missing and he was able to help him once in the past and maybe he can help him again. MVP then says maybe it is time for them to discuss business and handed him a card. MJF refuses and says whether these people recognize it or not he was the World Champion for 406 consecutive days. MVP then offers the card again and tells MJF to focus on the word was. MJF then takes the card and places it in his breast pocket.

Max Caster is now in the ring and claims to be the biggest star of The Acclaimed. Caster then starts a bad chant and the crowd laughs at him. Caster says the people of Fresno are stupid and so is whoever answers his challenge. Konosuke Takeshita then makes his way down to the ring. Caster asks if Takeshita is there to invite him to be in the Don Callis family since he can’t be there to fight him since he will kill him.

Singles Match: Max Caster vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita

We then head to the back, where Jay White talks about Will Ospreay and says he hopes they will end up in the ring again someday. White then says in order for Ospreay to win the championship at All In the powers that be will have to keep protecting him and keep Ospreay out of the ring with him. White then says he did not hit Cope on purpose on Sunday and he has failed in his promise to help him dethrone Jon Moxley. White then says he will not let anybody stop him from destroying the Death Riders and becoming the AEW World Champion.

We then see MJF approach Hangman Page backstage while he is speaking to Renee Paquette. Hangman says he didn’t believe MJF was going to light him on fire and he was right about something else and that’s the fact that MJF cares about what the fans think of him. MJF then says he is going to go and do what Hangman never could and that is win the AEW World Title over and over again, while Hangman climbs the mountain and falls down just before he reaches the top. MJF then tells Page that he doesn’t think Page deserved the crowd’s love and he is right because he will never win the big one and make them proud. Page then says I guess we will find out won’t we.
