AEW Dynamite 300 Results (7/2/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Excalibur welcoming us as “Hangman” Adam Page’s music hits and he makes his way out.

Hangman starts off by saying he is not going to waste much time here as he has already said what he’s needed to. Hangman then promises to ride through death itself to win the AEW World Title at All In: Texas and that is a vow he plans to keep. Hangman then says you would have to kill him before he lets this chance pass him by and he won’t let The Elite or Death Riders stop him. Hangman then calls out Jon Moxley to give him everything or give him death by making this title match a Texas Death Match.

Jon Moxley’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring through the crowd accompanied by Marina Shafir. Moxley then asks for a microphone from Shafir before entering the ring. Moxley then starts off by saying Page has put all of his chips on the table including his life, health and career. Moxley then says no to Page’s challenge for a Texas Death Match because Page doesn’t want that even if he thinks he does. Moxley then says Page will lose at All In and won’t win because he doesn’t want to and Page is happy where he is safe and comfortable. Moxley then says Page won the 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament because it wasn’t the highest peak of the mountain and the top of the mountain is too much pressure for Page. Moxley then says he lives in pressure and he will show the world at All In. Moxley then says Page won’t go as far as he needs to in a Texas Death Match and it would be something he doesn’t walk away from.

Page then slaps Moxley, but Moxley tackles Page and delivers some right hands on him. Moxley and Page then begin brawling, but Page looks to stab Moxley with a fork. Wheeler Yuta then comes to Moxley’s aid, but Page nails him. Shafir then delivers some strikes on Page, but Claudio Castagnoli makes his way down to the ring and beats down Page with Yuta as Moxley and Shafir retreat through the crowd. Castagnoli then hits the Neutralizer on Page, then heads out through the crowd with Yuta.

Page then grabs a microphone and asks The Death Riders if that’s the best they’ve got because he’s still standing. Castagnoli then storms back down to the ring, but The Opps are waiting for him at ringside. Shafir then sneaks up behind Page with the briefcase containing the AEW World Championship in hand, but Page sees her coming and grabs the briefcase from her. He then tells Moxley to give him a Texas Death Match unless he wants him to steal the briefcase and Moxley finally agrees to give Page his Texas Death Match. Page then hands Shafir the briefcase back, but hits a Buckshot Lariat on her. Page then leaves the ring and regroups with The Opps on the ramp.

Commentary then hypes up what just went down before sending us to a video of “Timeless” Toni Storm and one of the stars of the upcoming Superman film. They then discuss nicknames for Rachel before we head back to ringside, where Toni Storm makes her way down to the ring and joins the commentary desk for the first match of the night.

Mina Shirakawa then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Mercedes Moné follows.

AEW TBS Championship Match: “The CEO” Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa

The match starts off with Shirakawa going after Moné, but she is sent to the ropes by Moné. Moné then drives her boot into the face of Shirakawa. Shirakawa then fights back for a near fall. Moné then heads to the ropes, but is tripped up by Shirakawa. Shirakawa then gets a two count. Moné then mocks Storm at ringside before sending Shirakawa to the ropes once more, but Shirakawa fights back with a Lou Thesz press before keeping Moné down on the mat. Moné then heads to the corner, where she hits a Meteora on Shirakawa before sending her out of the ring. Moné then mocks Storm once more.

Shirakawa then hits a splash to Moné’s knee. Moné then cinches in the Statement Maker on Shirakawa, but Shirakawa reverses it into a Figure Four Leg Lock. Moné then rolls out of the ring to break the fall, but Shirakawa hits a Tornado DDT on her off the ring steps. Moné then hits a meteora on Shirakawa off the ring apron, then delivers some right hands on Shirakawa back inside the ring and follows it up with a Sunset Flip and a meteora.

Shirakawa then sends Moné’s knee crashing into the mat, then hits a Dragon Screw on her and cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on her. Moné then crawls over to the bottom rope to escape, then sets up for a Gory Bomb. Shirakawa then escapes and hits a couple of elbows on Moné, then follows it up with a kick to the back of her neck and a Glamorous Driver. Shirakawa then goes for a pin, but Moné kicks out. Shirakawa then hits a running knee on Moné, but Moné responds with a modified Lung Blower on Shirakawa. Moné then rolls up Shirakawa for the win.

After the match, Moné blindsides Shirakawa with an attack. Storm then checks on Shirakawa, but Moné nails Storm with her TBS Championship belt. Moné then retreats up the ramp and tells Storm her time is up and her time is now before commentary hypes up what’s to come later tonight on Dynamite.

We then see a video from earlier today of The Young Bucks celebrating their home coming with a fancy Founding Fathers lime and they look to go on a trip around Rancho Cucamonga. The segment ends with the Young Bucks looking to go to the mall.

The Young Bucks then check out the mall and note that it seems bigger years ago. They then opt to go back to the limo as we head back to ringside.

MJF then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and AR Fox, Anthony Bowens and Brody King follow.

4-Way Match for the #2 Spot in the Casino Gauntlet at All In: Texas: The Hurt Syndicate’s MJF vs. “The Pride of Professional Wrestling” “The Five Tool Player” Anthony Bowens vs. Hounds of Hell’s Brody King vs. AR Fox

The match starts off with MJF trying to buddy up with Brody King by offering him some money, but King slams MJF on the mat. MJF then leaves the ring and the other three men follow him until the Hurt Syndicate step in to protect him. King then goes after Fox and Bowens and nails both of them against the barricade as MJF joins commentary for a break. We then hear MVP offering some strategy as King brings Bowens back into the ring, but Fox intervenes to send King to the corner.

Fox and Bowens then work together to keep King down before Fox goes after Bowens. Fox then nails Bowens with a double stomp on the apron before hitting a dive on King on the outside. Fox then goes back after Bowens before both men find themselves on the outside. King then hits a tope on both men. MJF then hits King with a chair across his spine and brings Fox back in the ring for a cover and gets a near fall.

Fox and Bowens then nail King with double boots. Bowens then hits a DDT on Fox, but Fox sends MJF crashing into the mat with a Brainbuster. MJF then rolls up King, but King kicks out. MJF then bites King and hits a cutter on him, but Bowens hits a cutter on MJF. Fox then hits a cutter on Bowens, but King hits a cutter on Fox and goes for a pin. Fox then kicks out.

Fox then hits a roundhouse kick on King’s head, then hits a 450 Splash on him and goes for a pin. King then kicks out, but Bowens nails King with a rolling forearm. MJF then hits a Hammerlock DDT on Bowens, but King cinches in a Sleeper on MJF. Bowens then hits King with a thrust kick to break the hold and Fox hits a hanging DDT on King. Bowens then hits The Arrival on Fox, but King hits a double chop on Bowens and sends him crashing into the mat. He then goes for a pin, but Fox breaks the fall. MJF then cinches in The Salt Of The Earth on Fox and Fox taps out.

After the match, The Hurt Syndicate’s celebration is cut short by Mark Briscoe as he calls MJF out for a talk next week. This then gets a chant from the crowd as JetSpeed make their way out to confront The Hurt Syndicate. Benjamin and Lashley then nail Bailey and Knight, while MVP and MJF watch from ringside. Benjamin and Lashley then go right back after Bailey and Knight, with Lashley hitting a Dominator on Bailey. The Hurt Syndicate then retreat to the ramp, but Knight grabs a microphone to point out they are still alive and if The Hurt Syndicate want to keep those titles, they’re gonna have to kill JetSpeed. He then runs down The Hurt Syndicate before Kevin challenges Shelton to a match on Collision. The Hurt Syndicate’s music then plays.

We then head to the parking lot as The Young Bucks have returned in their custom limo, now dressed in gear for their match up next as their music hits and they make their way down to the ring. Konosuke Takeshita then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Paragon’s Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong then make their way down to the ring next and ROH World Champion Bandido follows.

Heroes vs. Villains Trios Match: ROH World Champion Bandido and Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong) vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)

The match starts off with Bandido and Takeshita and Takeshita takes control of the action before Bandido hits an arm drag. Takeshita then fights back with a flurry of offense before making the tag to Nicholas. Nicholas then gets the jump on Bandido before tagging Matthew in. The Young Bucks then double team Bandido, but O’Reilly comes in to intervene. They then take O’Reilly and Strong down before going back after Bandido and Bandido makes the tag to O’Reilly. O’Reilly then takes the fight to Matthew before a tag is made to Nicholas, but this gives O’Reilly an opening to tag Strong in the corner as they continue the fight. This then leads to a set of dives from Bandido and Takeshita to force all six men to the floor.

Bandido is then taken down by Nicholas before making a tag to Strong. Strong then takes Nicholas and Takeshita to the mat before hitting a series of elbows on Matthew. Nicholas then tags himself back into the match. He then takes Strong out before going after O’Reilly and Bandido, but O’Reilly goes after him with a guillotine choke before Matthew counters with a locomotion suplex. Bandido then hits the ropes, but he is hit with a Blue Thunder Bomb by Takeshita. They then crawl over to their respective corners as they finally get tagged into the match, but a powerbomb by Takeshita leads to a two count. Chaos then ensues as all six men go at it, leading to a big suplex off the turnbuckle by Bandido for a two count on Takeshita before it gets broken up.

Bandido then goes for a 21 Plex on Nicholas, but it is blocked and it allows The Young Bucks and Takeshita to triple team Bandido for a near fall. A tag is then made to O’Reilly as Paragon go to work on Takeshita and The Young Bucks. O’Reilly then locks in a guillotine on Takeshita, but he powers out before O’Reilly hits him with a chop block. We then get a series of superkicks and a big strike from Takeshita and it allows for a triple EVP Trigger, with The Young Bucks sending Strong and Bandido out while Takeshita hits his Raging Fire finisher on O’Reilly for the win.

After the match, Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay attack The Bucks from behind. Strickland then grabs a microphone and says that The Bucks never answered his and Ospreay’s challenge to a match at All In with the Executive Vice President title on the line. He then clarifies that himself and Ospreay are doing this for Tony Khan, but Matthew says no once again because himself and Nicholas would get nothing out of the match. Ospreay then proposes that if The Bucks win, then they can’t challenge for the AEW World Championship for a year. Strickland then gets in Ospreay’s face not totally agreeing with him, but Matthew accepts Ospreay and Strickland’s challenge to an All In match as long as Strickland agrees to the stipulation as well. Strickland then grabs the microphone and does so.

We then get a video showing the partnership between AEW and the upcoming Superman film featuring the film’s Superman and Lex Luthor alongside Kenny Omega and MJF.

Ospreay and Strickland are still having words with each other as LFI make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and attack Ospreay and Swerve in the ring to get the next match underway.

Heroes vs. Villains Tag Team Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland vs. La Facción Ingobernable (The Beast Mortos and Dralistico)

The match starts off with Mortos and Strickland going at it to start, with Strickland getting the upper hand even after Dralistico tries to intervene. He then distracts Swerve by going after Prince Nana and this gives Mortos the opening to send Strickland to the outside. Strickland then nails Dralistico with a chop and hits Mortos with a superkick. Ospreay then tags in and hits a double springboard kick on both Mortos and Dralistico, then flies through the ropes to land on them on the outside. Ospreay then nails Mortos with a forearm off the top and goes for a pin, but Mortos kicks out. Mortos then holds Dralistico in place and Dralistico flies off the top rope to nails him, then goes for a pin but Strickland breaks the fall.

Dralistico then nails Strickland with a Tornado DDT, then climbs to the middle rope. Ospreay then hits a Crucifix Bomb on Mortos and gets him up on one shoulder. Ospreay and Strickland then hit a Swerve Stomp-Stormbreaker combination on Mortos and Ospreay sends Dralistico crashing into the mat. Strickland then hits a House Call on Dralistico for the win.

After the match, Ospreay and Strickland celebrate as commentary hypes up the main event.

Kota Ibushi then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Kazuchika Okada follows with Don Callis.

Non-Title Match: “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi vs. Don Callis Family’s AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada

The match starts off with both men locking up and Okada sends Ibushi to the ropes. Ibushi then forces Okada away and Okada leaves the ring for a breather. Okada then returns to the ring and both men lock up. Both men then end up in the ropes, where the ref intervenes to force a break. Okada then evades a roundhouse kick to take another breather on the outside. Okada then returns to the ring for a set of strikes on Ibushi and takes Ibushi to the mat before Ibushi starts to fight back. Ibushi then sends Okada to the outside once more, this time hitting a springboard ax handle on Okada before getting into it with Lance Archer at commentary. Ibushi then charges back at Okada and Okada sends Ibushi into the ring steps with a drop toe hold.

Okada is back in control as he sends Ibushi to the corner, but Ibushi dodges an elbow strike before taking Okada down with a dropkick. Both men are down now and the referee begins the count, but both men are up pretty quick before Ibushi takes Okada back down with a hard kick. Ibushi then keeps Okada down and as soon as Okada is back up he is hit with a set of palm strikes and kicks. Okada then takes Ibushi down with a dropkick of his own for a near fall.

Ibushi is back up and he charges at Okada with a knee strike for a near fall of his own before Okada strikes back to turn the tide in his favor. Okada then cinches in a cravat hold on Ibushi, but he fights to his feet and sends Okada to the corner. Okada then hits Ibushi with a neckbreaker. He then brings Ibushi back up for a scoop slam before climbing up for an elbow drop. Ibushi then sends Okada to the corner, but Okada hits some hard forearm strikes on Ibushi. Ibushi then takes his kicks, but fights back to his feet and sends Okada to the corner for a flurry of offense before the referee intervenes. Ibushi then takes Okada down with a lariat of his own.

Ibushi then goes up top but is intercepted by Okada, who hits a German suplex before going for a Rainmaker. Ibushi then escapes and hits a roundhouse kick on Okada’s neck, then hits a variation of a powerbomb off the top rope. Okada then pins Ibushi, but Ibushi reverses the pinfall. Okada then kicks out, then nails Ibushi with a dropkick and follows it up with the Rainmaker for the win.

After the match, Okada, Archer and Rocky Romero look to beat down Ibushi. Kenny Omega then makes his way down to the ring to come to Ibushi’s aid, but Trent Beretta looks to hit Omega with a baton. Ibushi then catches the baton and hits a powerbomb-German suplex combination on Beretta with Omega. Omega and Ibushi then stand tall in the ring and hug it out as the Don Callis Family hold Okada back. Okada then shouts at Omega before they head to the ramp and the show comes to a close.
