The Inner Circle Vs. The Elite
The Inner Circle are dressed like football players, while The Elite just bring weapons. The whistle blows and everyone sprints towards each other and fights. Hardy slams Jericho into the ring post and Sammy beats Omega with a football. Santana and Ortiz suplex Matt Jackson on the grass.
Hangman Page arrives on a horse and chases after Sammy Guevara, who sprints into the arena. Nick Jackson and Jericho fight into the ring and brawl, while Page is looking for Guevara in the arena. Jericho attempts a hip toss but Nick counters, and teams with Matt to hit a dropkick.
Santana and Ortiz come into the ring and they toss Matt out and suplex Nick. Matt comes back and gets powerbombed. The heels take control and Guevara comes back and heads to the top rope for a shooting star press on Hardy but nobody’s home. Suddenly the babyfaces are all in control and they hit Sammy with all their finishers.
Jericho prevents Omega from hitting a V-Trigger and drags him outside. Nick Jackson hits a springboard tope onto Hager and Ortiz, then Santana dives onto everyone, followed by Sammy hitting his own team with a shooting star press. The action starts to disperse all over the stadium, with referees following each group.
Matt Jackson climbs a ladder onto the field goal post, and jumps off it with a moonsault to Jericho and Sammy. Kenny and Hardy are fighting Santana and Hager through the stands. The four of them fight into the arena and we cut to Hangman Page, still looking for Guevara on his horse. He gives up and goes to the bar.
Omega scoop slams Ortiz onto a recycling bin. Sanatana throws salt in Kenny’s eyes, then he and Ortiz suplex Omega onto a guard rail. They then climb onto a table and powerbomb Kenny through the guard rail but Matt breaks it up. There’s a swimming pool nearby and they throw Matt into it. Santana jumps in and fights Matt but Ortiz doesn’t want to because he can’t swim.
Ortiz comes in anyway and they try to drown him – which seems super disrespectful considering what happened this past week. Matt pops out of the water in his Hardy Boyz attire, so they dunk him again and he pops out as Matt Hardy V1.0. They continue trying to drown him until he floats in the water, then comes out as Broken Matt. He drags them down, then climbs out and tells them to get out.
Hardy puts Ortiz on a wooden table, and back body drops Santana through it! Hardy slams Ortiz into a big bell, then puts him in a chair of wheels and ties him to it. Santana hits Matt with a street sign but Hardy slams a bin into him, meanwhile Ortiz is coming behind them in a wheelchair. They find an ice machine and Hardy puts Santana into it and locks it.
Hager goes to the bar and finds Hangman sitting drinking, so he sits beside him and Page pours him one. They share a drink, then start brawling around the bar. Hager tosses Page over a pool table, then Hangman breaks a cue over his back but he doesn’t react. Page flips off the bar, then rolls backwards on the pool table to avoid him. Hager chokeslams Page onto the pool table, then sets him on the bar and runs him down it like something from a John Wayne film. Hager then slams Page through a table with a gutwrench powerbomb for a near-fall.
Kenny Omega appears and he smashes a bottle of Hager’s head but he no-sells it. They smash more and more bottles over Hager’s face, then Page flips over Omega and hits a Buckshot Lariat to Hager that knocks him over the bar. Page goes behind the bar and pours some drinks for him and Kenny.
We go back down to the field and Guevara is fighting Matt Jackson. Matt hits the locomotion Northern Lights suplexes, meanwhile Nick shoves Jericho’s face in front of a smoke machine. Jericho uses a megaphone to trash talk Nick, so Jackson throws footballs at him. Jericho throws Nick into a big jaguar head, then hits the mascot with the Judas Effect. Jericho dons the traffic cone and laughs like an elf.
Jericho hits Nick with Floyd the bat and gets a near-fall, but he challenges the call, so he and Aubrey go into the replay tent and watch it back. Matt Jackson finishes his 100 yards of locomotion Northern Lights suplexes for a touchdown, but gets booked for celebrating. Jericho is about to hit Nick with Floyd but Matt saves him. Matt puts Jericho on a table, while Nick runs down a flight of stairs and jumps off the fan section with a splash to put Y2J through it.
Hangman Page reppears with the line marker and runs it across Jericho’s body. Sammy comes to, thinking he’s won the match, but Omega and Hardy appear in the golf cart that drove into him a few weeks ago and run him down. Guevara climbs over a wall to escape but Kenny chases after him.
Hardy catches Sammy and they brawl on top of a hard camera stand, with Sammy saying he’s going to kill Matt. Suddenly Omega makes the save. Omega lifts Guevara and hits a stunning One-Winged Angel off the camera stand some ten+ feet through some wooden boards on the floor! Kenny makes the pin and ends this super fun match.
Winners: The Elite
The Elite regroup and celebrate their monumental win. The Bucks pour Gatorade over Omega for his game-winning play. The Elite then pose on the field as fireworks explode over the arena.
