The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us and they run through the lineup for today’s show. We then get a recap of Samoa Joe defeating Eddie Kingston and “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland beating The Opps at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite: Winter Is Coming.
We then get some video footage from “Hangman” Adam Page saying he would be coming for the AEW World Championship.
Swerve Strickland then makes his way down to the ring with Prince Nana for the first match of the evening and Josh Alexander follows with Don Callis.
The match starts off with both men locking up in the center of ring as Alexander gets Strickland to the corner. He then runs the ropes, attempting to knock Strickland down but he stands firm. Alexander then tries again, but Strickland won’t move. Strickland then runs the ropes and he gets Alexander up and drops him with a buckle bomb. He then follows it up with a pump kick. Strickland then checks on his knee and he grabs Alexander and lands on the side of his head with a big knee drop. Strickland then hits Alexander with a big reverse neck breaker and does it again.
Strickland then sends Alexander to the floor. Strickland then attempts a kick on Alexander, but its blocked as Alexander picks Strickland up and drops him on the announce desk. Alexander then picks Strickland up, sets him on the apron, chops him and hits a cross body, sending Strickland to the floor. Strickland then fights back, pushing through the pain of the damaged knee. Strickland then hits an avalanche Angle Slam that sends both men crashing down. Alexander then blocks a half-and-half suplex and goes for the leg. Strickland then fights off his grip for a while, but eventually Alexander traps Strickland in a single leg Boston Crab. Strickland then hits Alexander with the House Call, but Alexander doesn’t stay down. Strickland then hits the Big Pressure for the win.

After the match, Strickland grabs a mac says it’s time to get back to business. Strickland then says the last time he was in Cardiff he was the AEW World Champion. Strickland then says it is time to do what he does best. Strickland then says he didn’t come back for the Don Callis Family or The Opps. Strickland then says he came back for the AEW World Title.
We then get a video package hyping up the match coming up on Wednesday’s 3-hour show, with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega taking on the Don Callis Family.
We then head to the back, where Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa cut a promo and say the Babes of Wrath can’t have a championship toast without the Timeless Love Bombs.
Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the evening and the Sisters of Sin’s music hits, but they don’t come out.
The match starts off with Thekla appearing on the ramp instead of the Sisters of Sin, distracting Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter and allowing Skye Blue and Julia Hart to jump them. Hayter then fights back, taking Blue down. Statlander is then tagged in with Hayter picking up Statlander and slamming her on Blue. Hayter and Statlander then continue the double team on Blue with a double elbow drop. Statlander then kicks Blue in the head and sends her to the corner, allowing Julia Hart to tag in. Hart then nails Statlander and Hayter, who is tagged in. Hayter then hits a pump kick on Hart and follows it up with an exploder.
Hayter then hits Hart with a snap suplex and covers her for only a one count. Blue then distracts the referee, allowing Hart to hit Hayter with a leg trip take down. Hart then covers Hayter for only a two count. Blue and Statlander are back in and Statlander nails Blue with a running knee in the corner and covers Blue for only a two count. Blue then rolls Statlander up, but Statlander kicks out at two. Hart is then tagged in. Sisters of Sin then double team Statlander. Hart then nails Statlander in the back. Blue is then tagged in as she rolls Statlander up for only a two count. Hayter then comes in as all four women take each other down.
All women are up as they all exchange blows and thrust kicks. Hart then sends Hayter to the floor as Statlander hits Blue with a sitdown powerbomb and covers her for only a two count. Hayter is then tagged in as Blue sends Statlander to the floor and hits Hayter with a pump kick. Hayter then German Suplexes Blue and picks Hart up, hits her with a back breaker and follows it up with a Hayterade for the win.

After the match, Thekla is shown from the VIP area looking at Hayter and Statlander as they make their way to the back.
We then head to the back, where Statlander and Hayter are being interviewed and they cut right to the chase. It is then made official that Statlander will defend her title against Hayter at AEW World’s End.
Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the evening and Konosuke Takeshita follows.
The match starts off with both men locking up in the ring and both men break the hold. Both men then lock up again as Castagnoli grabs the arm of Takeshita, who reverses the hold and takes Castagnoli down. Castagnoli is up as Takeshita is up against the ropes. We then get clear break and a stare-down. Castagnoli then applies a side headlock on Takeshita. Takeshita then breaks the hold as both men try taking each other down with shoulder tackles. Takeshita then hits Castagnoli with a big kick, followed by a flying elbow to take him down. Castagnoli is up in the corner. Takeshita then nails Castagnoli in the head as the fans count along. Castagnoli then fires back and he hits Takeshita with a big running elbow.
It has no affect on Takeshita and both men exchange elbow shots. Castagnoli then nails Takeshita, picking him up and slamming him down. Castagnoli then picks up Takeshita, but Takeshita fights back. Takeshita then hits a big boot on Castagnoli and sends him to the floor. Takeshita then runs off the apron and runs into a big forearm from Castagnoli. The referee then checks on Takeshita. Castagnoli then leaps up and lands both feet on the chest of Takeshita. Castagnoli then has Takeshita up as both men are on the ramp way. Takeshita then blocks a DDT from Castagnoli and picks up him, slamming him down. Takeshita then runs at Castagnoli, but is caught with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker by Castagnoli.
Takeshita then fights through a sleeper hold and sends Castagnoli to the floor. Takeshita then follows Castagnoli by hitting a big dive over the top and he hits a big boot in the ring and a Blue Thunder Bomb. Takeshita then goes for a cover and Castagnoli kicks out at two. Castagnoli then blocks a knee strike and hits the giant swing on Takeshita. He then cinches in a sharpshooter on Takeshita. As Takeshita goes to break the hold, Castagnoli goes for the crossface. Takeshita then counters with a pinfall, forcing Castagnoli to break the hold to escape.
Takeshita then rolls Castagnoli into a headstand position, pops him up for the double leg-trapped tombstone and follows it up with the wheelbarrow German suplex. Five minutes are left and Castagnoli turns Takeshita on his head with a springboard European Uppercut. Takeshita then blocks the Neutralizer, leading to both men nailing each other with uppercuts and clotheslines until they both fall to the mat. Takeshita and Castagnoli then trade shots on the floor and we are down to under a minute. Castagnoli then barely gets in before the ten count. Castagnoli then eats a boot and kicks out and he counters a Raging Fire into the Gotch Neutralizer. Castagnoli then goes for a cover, but Takeshita kicks out. The time then runs out and the referee calls for the bell.
The Continental Classic Blue League Match ends in a time-limit draw!
After the match, both men are right in the center of the ring as officials come from the back to break up the fight between Castagnoli and Takeshita. Both men then get separated as other members of the Death Riders and Don Callis Family make their way down to split up the fight.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is talking to Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight about their Continental Classic Match tonight. They both tell each other not to hold anything back and it’s all about respect.
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he brings out the first-ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions the Babes of Wrath. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron then make their way to the ring. Willow and Harley then start a Babes of Wrath chant. Willow then says the last time they were here, she wrestled Harley Cameron. Harley then talks about how the airline lost her luggage. Willow then says there is no one she would partner with. Harley then begins to talk about other teams wanting a shot as the music of the Timeless Love Bombs hits. They then make their way down to the ring.
Toni Storm then has a mic as the fans sing her name. Storm then asks Cardiff to lend them her ears. Toni then says she and Mina gave Harley and Willow a fight to remember. The music of Mercedes Moné then hits as says there can’t be a championship celebration without the best champion in history. Mina Shirakawa then tells Moné to shut up. Moné then says no one tells her to shut up. Toni then challenges Moné to a match and Moné says no way that Wales is not enough a great country. Willow then says she is not great at math either and their are four of them and one of her. Moné then says she will bring friends in Manchester as Toni Storm accepts the challenge.
We then head to the back, where Ricochet is talking about how 2026 will be a better year for him as he will enter the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale.
We then get a video package hyping up the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale, taking place this Wednesday at the 3-hour Holiday Bash special from Manchester, England.
Kevin Knight then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the evening and Mike Bailey follows.
The match starts off with both men shaking hands. Both men then runs the ropes as they know each others moves, ducking kicks. Bailey and Knight then lock up. Bailey is then sent to the corner as Knight takes down Bailey with an arm drag. Bailey then hits Knight with a big elbow. Knight is up on the ropes and he sends Bailey to the floor. As Knight goes to the run the ropes, Bailey trips up the leg of Knight. Bailey then leaps over the ropes, landing on Knight on the floor.
