AEW Collision Results (5/2/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us as The Death Riders make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night. The Dogs then make their way down to the ring next and The Rascalz and Top Flight follow.
10-Man Tag Team Match: The Death Riders (AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and “The Bastard” PAC) and The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connor) vs. SkyFlight’s Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) and The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed and Dezmond Xavier)
The match starts off with Top Flight and The Rascalz getting the quick jump on the Death Riders and The Dogs. Reed then sends Castagnoli to the floor and he dives over the top rope, taking down Castagnoli and PAC. On the floor, Top Flight takes it to The Dogs. In the ring, Connors works on Wentz, but he fires back with chops on Connors in the corner. Wentz then goes to the top and he comes off the top on Connors, covering him for only a two count. Wentz is then sent to the corner as Finlay is tagged in. The Dogs then double team Wentz. Xavier is then tagged in. He then covers Finlay as PAC makes the save. Darius Martin is then tagged in and PAC is tagged in as well.
Moxley then comes in and takes down Darius. He is now officially tagged in to boos from the fans. Moxley then works on Darius in the corner and he bites him in the forehead. Darius then fires back with rights. Moxley and Darius then exchange blows. Dante is then tagged in. Dante then hits Moxley with a flying lariat. Reed is then tagged in as he is slapped by Moxley. Reed then fires back with a big chop. Both men then exchange chops in the ring. Moxley then hits Reed with a big forearm. Reed is then sent to the floor as Marina drops him with a lariat. A big “Moxley” chant then begins. Xavier then DDT’s Castagnoli on the floor. Wentz then hits Finlay with a shotgun drop kick, but is sent into the announce desk by Connors. Castagnoli then comes off the top, dropping Reed on his back.
Connors and Reed are in the ring. Connors then drops Reed and grabs his ankle. Reed then comes back and tries to make a tag, but he is blocked. The Dogs and The Death Riders then clean the corner of the babyfaces, sending them to the floor. The Dogs then try to double team Reed, but he comes back with a double cutter on The Dogs. Top Flight then leaps through the ropes, taking out the Death Riders on the floor. Xavier is in and he catapults Connors into the boot of Wentz. Reed then covers Connors, but Finlay makes the save. Finlay then slams Wentz down as Connors covers him for only a two, with Xavier making the save. Wentz then hits a big boot to the head on Connors as both men are down.
Darius and PAC are tagged in. Darius then rolls up PAC for only a two count. Both men then roll each other up for pin attempts. Dante is then tagged in. He then comes off the top, landing on PAC and covers him for only a two count. Top Flight then double team Castagnoli, but he comes back with a double suplex on Top Flight. Castagnoli then grabs Dante for the giant swing. Reed then sends Moxley to the floor. Xavier is up on Castagnoli’s back. Wentz then kicks Castagnoli in the head. The babyfaces then take down Castagnoli. Finlay then comes in and he is thrust kicked by The Rascalz. Reed is then sent to the floor. The Dogs then take down Xavier. Reed and Wentz then get double kicked by Moxley and PAC. Darius then rolls up PAC for only a two count. PAC then clothesline Darius and he locks in the brutalizer for the win as Darius submits.

Next up is the AEW National Championship Match as “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry defends against Mascara Dorada. We then get a video package for Jurassic Express, with Luchasaurus driving Perry and the National Title. Perry says the two men are already down and he’s about to put down another challenger tonight. They also say no man can stop us then pull over. Perry can’t help but look at Luchasaurus, who notices and turns the other direction.
Jack Perry then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Máscara Dorada follows.
AEW National Championship Match: Jurassic Express’ “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry (c) vs. Máscara Dorada
The match starts off with a handshake from both men. Perry then locks up Dorada, who then breaks the hold, sending Perry down. Both men then lock up as Perry takes down Dorada to the mat. Perry then has Dorada in a headlock as Perry is rolled up for a one count. Perry then drops Dorada. Both men then run the ropes and Perry drop kicks Dorada. Perry then chops Dorada, dropping him to the mat. He then sends Dorada to the ropes, who comes back sending down Perry. Perry then fires back with a chop and he climbs the ropes, springing off, sending down Dorada.
Dorada then grabs Perry as he breaks the hold and rolls to the floor. Dorada then leaps over the ropes, landing on Perry on the outside. Dorada then starts a “lucha” chant. Perry then sends Dorada into the ring post and he kicks him in the head. The action then spills onto the barricade as both men exchange blows. Dorada then tries for a suplex, but Perry drops him with a Canadian Destroyer on the barricade. Both men are down as the referee checks on them. Perry then escapes a stunner and hits a poison rana, but he is planted with a Code Red in response. Perry then knocks Dorada off the ropes to the floor and follows it up with a big moonsault. Back in the ring, Perry hits Dorada with a gut-wrench Liger Bomb.
Dorada then hits Perry with a One-Winged Angel into a neckbreaker. Perry then barely kicks out after Dorada’s 450 Splash. On the apron, Perry stuns Dorada with a superkick and he launches Dorada off with a diving hurricanrana. Inside the ring, Dorada catches Perry out of the air with a knee and turns him inside out with a sit-out Dominator for a near fall. Perry then gets his knees up and he nearly pins Dorada off the roll-up. Perry then hits a hurricanrana off the top for the win.

After the match, both men show each other a sign of respect and leave together to the back.
We then head to the back, where Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida are speaking with Renee Paquette. Statlander blames Shida for their loss to the AEW Women’s Tag Champions and Shida promises to make things up to Statlander.
The Conglomeration then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and their opponents are already in the ring.
Trios Match: AEW World Trios Champions The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly) vs. MxM TV (Johnny TV, Mansoor and Mason Madden)
The match starts off with Kyle O’Reilly and Mansoor. O’Reilly kicks Mansoor, who tags in Mason Madden and he is kicked by O’Reilly. Johnny TV is then tagged in. He is then pummeled in the corner by O’Reilly. Roderick Strong is then tagged in, laying it into Johnny. Orange Cassidy is then tagged in. Johnny then comes from behind and kicks Cassidy. Madden and Mason then take out The Conglomeration on the floor. Mansoor then picks up Cassidy and he is dropped by Madden.
MxM TV then triple team Cassidy, but Strong and O’Reilly come into to even things up. Strong then chops Madden and picks him and drops him on his back. Cassidy is on the shoulders of Strong as he takes down Madden and Mansoor, who is sent to the outside. Johnny TV is then triple teamed in the ring. Cassidy then hits Johnny with a big elbow off the top and covers him for the win.

After the match, The Conglomeration celebrate and the music of Tommaso Ciampa hits as he slowly makes his way out and signals to Cassidy his time is up on Dynamite with the Double Jeopardy match.
Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then give a shout out to Rebel, who has been diagnosed with terminal ALS. The camera then shows signs from fans, supporting Rebel.
We then get a vignette with Will Ospreay and the Death Riders. We are shown a recap of Jon Moxley and crew recruiting Will Ospreay over the past two weeks. After a brutal feud where both men tried to break one another’s necks, they are now working together to get the absolute best out of Ospreay.
Anna Jay then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Willow Nightingale follows.
AEW TBS Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Anna Jay
The match starts off with both women locking up. Nightingale then goes for a quick roll up on Jay, who kicks out at one. Jay then grabs Nightingale, but she is picked up and put on the top rope. Nightingale then tells Jay to show her the fire. Nightingale then takes down Jay. Jay then hits the ropes and flips over Nightingale for only a two count. Jay then rolls up Nightingale again, for just a two count. Nightingale then hits Jay in the corner with standing lariats. Nightingale is in the corner as Jay kicks her in the mid-section. Jay then kicks Nightingale and covers her for a one count. Jay then sends Nightingale to the floor.
Jay is then leg tripped on the apron and she hits the floor. Nightingale then lands on Jay on the floor. Nightingale then takes Jay up top and hits her with a superplex. Nightingale then picks Jay up out of the superplex into a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Jay then cinches in the Queen Slayer on Nightingale. Nightingale then backs Jay into the corner to break the hold. Jay then escapes a Fire Thunder Driver, but Nightingale hits her with the Babe With The Powerbomb for the win.

After the match, Nightingale and Jay some show respect for one another as they shake hands and hug each other.
We then head to the back, where Hikaru Shida gives Kris Statlander a gift and a second chance in a tag match against Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron. Shirakawa then confronts Statlander, asking her why she is even giving Shida the time of day. Shirakawa then seals the deal on the tag match, implying that Statlander might have had something to do with Toni Storm’s injury. Statlander and Shida then leave.
The Death Riders then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Bang Bang Gang follow.
Tag Team Match: Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Ace Austin) vs. The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)
The match starts off with Juice Robinson and Wheeler Yuta and Yuta hits Ace Austin, sending him to the floor. Garcia and Yuta then double team Robinson. Garcia is then tagged in. They then double team Robinson. Yuta is then tagged in. Robinson then fights back as Austin is tagged in. He then takes down Garcia, but is kicked by Yuta in the mid-section. Austin then takes down Yuta and he hits a kick to the head. Austin then drops Garcia on the apron. Yuta then comes back and knocks Austin to the floor. Yuta then distracts the referee, while Garcia and Shafir double team Austin on the floor.
Austin is back in the ring as Yuta grabs the hair of Austin and tags in Garcia. Yuta and Garcia then batter Austin and Garcia traps Austin with a headscissors on the mat. He then cinches in a Peruvian Necktie. Austin then catches Garcia in a deadlift fireman’s carry and as Garcia tries to elbow his face off, Austin hits a Death Valley Driver and tags out to Robinson. Robinson then lays out both opponents, tearing through them like a house on fire. A bloody Yuta then gets hammered by Robinson. Shafir then distracts Robinson as he nearly pins Yuta. Both men then trade pinfalls after Robinson sends Yuta into Shafir.
Austin then runs in and he is launched over the turnbuckle, face-first into the steel steps. Robinson then ducks Yuta’s Busaiku Knee, but eats a John Woo dropkick from Garcia. Austin then takes out Garcia, but he is planted with an Angle Slam from a bloody Yuta. Robinson then hits Yuta with The Juice is Loose for the win.

After the match, Robinson declares he wants Jon Moxley’s belt. The Death Riders then attack, but are cut off by the returning Austin and Colten Gunn. They then hit Yuta with the 3:10 to Yuma. Austin then grabs a mic and says The Gunns are back and this is their show and if you are not down with that, they have two words for you Gunns Up.
We then head to the back with Lexy Nair talking with Divine Dominion.
Skye Blue then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and her opponent is already in the ring.
Singles Match: Triangle of Madness’ Skye Blue vs. Nixi XS
The match starts off with Blue hitting Nixi XS and slamming her into the steps. Blue then hits Nixi XS off the apron with a spinning neckbreaker. Blue then hits Nixi XS with a Cheeky Nando’s kick. Blue then hits Nixi XS with a running powerbomb and follows it up with a running knee. Blue then breaks her own pin up, only to pull Nixi XS into a Dragon Sleeper with a body scissors for the win.

HOOK then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Kevin Knight follows.

The match starts off with both men locking up. HOOK then sends Knight down. Both men then lock up again as HOOK applies a headlock on Knight and he turns it into a wrist lock. HOOK then works on the arm of Knight. Both men then lock up yet again and circle around, hitting the ropes. Knight then grabs the arm of HOOK, who then fights out of the hold, tossing down Knight. Knight then goes for an arm drag, but HOOK lands on his feet. Knight then takes down HOOK with a couple of arm drags. Shibata then whispers something in the ear of HOOK. Hook then hits Knight in the mid-section, but Knight comes back with uppercuts on HOOK.
HOOK then reverses it and hits Knight with a series of blows and a headbutt. Knight then sends HOOK to the apron and kicks him to the floor. Knight then comes down, but HOOK steps out of the way. Shibata then goes for a clothesline, but Knight ducks. HOOK then catches Knight and sends him into the stands. Knight then hits HOOK with a leaping lariat and nails him with the body slam. Knight then hits a running UFO Splash for a two count. Knight then climbs up top for the UFO Splash, but HOOK meets him for an over-the-head belly-to-belly suplex. HOOK then hits a Tazzplex then sends Knight on his head and a nasty penalty kick to the head nearly earns HOOK the title. Knight then escapes a Redrum and he takes out Shibata. Knight then hits HOOK with a leaping DDT. Knight then hits a UFO Splash for the win.
