The show opens up with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us as Orange Cassidy makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Roderick Strong then makes his way down to the ring next. It is announced before the match that Orange Cassidy is not a 100%, but he is cleared for in-ring action.
The match starts off with Strong grounding Cassidy and we get an exchange from both men. Strong then chops Cassidy, but Cassidy responds with a side headlock takedown. Cassidy then takes down Strong with another side headlock takedown. The action then spills to the outside and Strong gets the upperhand. Back in the ring, Strong hits Cassidy with a backbreaker on his knees. Strong then slams Cassidy on the ropes and follows it up with another backbreaker. Cassidy is clearly hurt as Strong has hit him with a plethora of backbreakers so far.
Cassidy then makes his comeback with a spinning DDT out of nowhere. Both men are now down on the mat. Cassidy then tries to put his hands in his pockets, but Strong chops him. Both men then have a stare-down before Cassidy sends Strong to the outside. Cassidy then hits a dive to the outside. Cassidy then slams Strong head first on the turnbuckles, but Strong responds with a powerslam for a two count.
After some back-and-forth, Strong hits the End of Heartache on Cassidy but Cassidy kicks out at two. Cassidy then rolls Strong up for a two count. Cassidy then counters an End of Heartache and rolls Strong up for the win.

It is then announced that Darby Allin has been pulled out of the Continental Classic after he was hospitalized following his match against Kevin Knight and that Jack Perry will be his replacement. Allin then cuts a promo after the announcement and he is frustrated. Allin says he wants Perry to win the Continental Classic.
FTR and Big Stoke then make their way down to the ring and Big Stoke calls out Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn. Robinson and Gunn then make their way down to the ring. Wheeler says Gunn’s biggest achievement will be to be known as “Billy’s Boy” and Robinson’s biggest achievement will be to be known as “Mr. Toni Storm”. Harwood then says the only reason they haven’t fought the Bang Bang Gang is because they know the Bang Bang Gang have no chance in beating them.
FTR then takes more shots at Robinson and Gunn. Gunn then fires back and FTR are avoiding to putting the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line. Gunn then says he wants FTR to make their match official for the titles.
We then head to the back, where Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta cut a promo on Mark Briscoe and call him stupid. Garcia then says he will dethrone Briscoe for the TNT Title on December 13 in Cardiff, Wales.
Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Máscara Dorada follows.
The match starts off with both men locking up and Castagnoli takes Dorada down and goes for a quick pin. Castagnoli then has Dorada down on the mat. Castagnoli then has Dorada in a headlock. Both men are up and Castagnoli takes Dorada down and covers him for only a two count. Castagnoli then picks up Dorada and chops him, sending him down. Castagnoli then covers Dorada, who kicks out at two. Dorada is up and he runs the ropes, but is taken down by Castagnoli with a shoulder block. Dorada is back up and he spring boards off the ropes, sending Castagnoli to the outside. Dorada then runs the ropes, but is met with a big right hand by Castagnoli who is on the apron.
Castagnoli then picks up Dorada and drops him straight on the guardrail. Castagnoli then picks up Dorada and drops him on the guardrail again. Castagnoli then tries to pull the mask of Dorada off. Dorada then comes back and chops and kicks Castagnoli, but he gets Dorada in the giant swing and tosses Dorada to the corner. Castagnoli then hits a big uppercut on Dorada. Both men then collide and go down. Dorada is up and he sends Castagnoli to the mat with an armdrag takedown. Castagnoli then goes to the floor as Dorada runs the ropes, taking down Castagnoli who is on the floor. Castagnoli then sends Dorada into the steel steps. Dorada then goes up and takes down Castagnoli and rolls him back in the ring. Dorada then rolls up Castagnoli for a near fall.
Dorada is up on the top rope and he comes off with a crossbody and is caught by Castagnoli and dropped with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Castagnoli then covers Dorada for only a two count and it is announced that 10 minutes remain in the match. Dorada then rolls up Castagnoli for only a two count. Castagnoli then nails Dorada with a big uppercut as Dorada goes down. Castagnoli then covers Dorada for only a two count. Castagnoli then delivers some uppercuts on Dorada. Castagnoli then grabs Dorada and hoists him up as Dorada and Castagnoli are up on the top rope. Dorada then sends Castagnoli to the mat. Dorada then goes up to the top, but Castagnoli hits a big uppercut. Dorada then sends Castagnoli down to the mat and comes off the top with a huge shooting star press and covers Castagnoli for the win.

We then see a clip of Tony Schiavone’s sit-down interview with Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) and Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa).
Tony Schiavone then introduces Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana and they make their way down to the ring. Strickland is taking in the love he is getting from fans. Strickland brings up his return 2 weeks ago after being on the shelf for 3 months. Strickland says he has worked on being the most dangerous version of himself. Strickland then says he has only one goal and that is to become the AEW World Champion. Strickland then says Samoa Joe has been avoiding him and he brings up how he defeated Joe for his first AEW World Title.
Strickland then says Joe will fall by his hands once again. Strickland then focuses on Hangman Page. Strickland says Page and him will never see eye to eye, but their feuds have been legendary. Strickland then says he is ready to partner with Hangman Page for one night only at Winter Is Coming.
Josh Alexander then interrupts Swerve Strickland. Alexander says Don Callis Family run the place now. Alexander also brings up fellow Don Callis Family member Kazuchika Okada injuring Strickland. Alexander then heaps praise on himself and says he deserves a title shot, not Swerve Strickland. Strickland then challenges Alexander to a match at Winter Is Coming and Alexander accepts. Katsuyori Shibata then attacks Strickland’s knee from behind. Strickland then has a stare-down with Alexander.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair interviews AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Moné says she doesn’t want to talk about her loss at Final Battle. Moné then sends a warning to Leila Grey ahead of their match on Collision tonight.
Mercedes Moné then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Leila Grey follows.
The match starts off with Moné attacking Grey. Moné then takes Christopher Daniels down with a meteora. Grey then fights back and gets a two count on Moné in the ring. After some back-and-forth, Moné ragdolls Grey by the hair. Moné then slams Grey head first into the turnbuckle. Moné then a double knees in the corner and Grey hits Moné with a clothesline.
Grey then hurts herself after hitting an awkward knee strike. Grey then hits a bulldog for a near fall, but Moné applies the Statement Maker and Grey taps out.

After the match, Moné low blows Daniels. Moné then goes to the commentary desk and says she is the greatest off all time.
We then get a backstage vignette of Eddie Kingston and his upcoming AEW World Title Match against Samoa Joe at Dynamite: Winter Is Coming.
We then see Triangle of Madness destroying multiple stars in a backstage segment.
Ricochet then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Ace Austin follows.
The match starts off with both stars trying to get the upperhand. Ace Austin then gets a two count on Ricochet and this frustrates Ricochet. Ricochet then regroups with his Demand partners and he tries to attack Austin with a bell hammer shortly after. Ricochet then gets the upperhand after some shenanigans. Ricochet then slams Austin on the barricade and gets a one count back in the ring. Ricochet then chokes Austin with his boot on the ropes.
After some back-and-forth, Austin makes his comeback but Ricochet rolls him up for a two count. Ricochet then kicks Ace down and follows it up with a running shooting star press for a two count. Austin then almost hits the referee, but stops mid-move. Austin then stops Ricochet’s low blow attempt. Ricochet then hits Austin with a spirit gun and follows it up with the Vertigo for the win.

After the match, FTR make their way down to the ring following GOA’s departure and they attack Ace Austin. The Bang Bang Gang then make their way down to the ring, but FTR overwhelm them with strikes. Big Stoke then hands them the AEW World Tag Team titles, but before FTR can use them both Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson stop them in their tracks to get FTR out of the ring. Gunn and Robinson then reach for the titles and only after a moment’s hesitation, pick them up to swing them carelessly around. They then end up tossing the titles back to FTR and stand tall along Austin.
We then get the entrances of the main event of the night.
The match starts off with Konosuke Takeshita applying a headlock on Jon Moxley, but Moxley puts him down to the mat. Moxley then grounds Takeshita before cornering him. Both men then shove each other. Takeshita then takes Moxley down with a shoulder tackle. Moxley then has an awkward landing shortly after. Moxley then hits some chops on Takeshita, but Takeshita targets Moxley’s knee and he slams it on the steel steps. The action then spills to the outside. Takeshita then unloads on Moxley. Moxley then shrugs off Takeshita, but Takeshita catches up to him.
Back in the ring, Moxley can barely stand and he falls down on the mat. Takeshita then takes advantage by hitting a dragon screw. Takeshita then unloads on Moxley, but Moxley returns the favor. Takeshita then has the momentum, but Moxley fires back with some chops and gets taken down. Takeshita then applies an ankle lock on Moxley. After some back-and-forth, Moxley stomps Takeshita on the apron. Moxley then suplexes Takeshita in the ring, but Takeshita counters with a German Suplex. Both men then take each other down with double clotheslines.
Moxley and Takeshita then have a slugfest. Moxley then takes Takeshita down with a lariat. Both men then counter each other before Moxley applies an ankle lock on Takeshita. Takeshita then reaches the bottom rope to break the hold. Moxley then stomps on Takeshita. Moxley then looks for a piledriver on the apron, but Takeshita hits a back body drop. Takeshita then collapses on the mat due to the damage done to his knee, but he takes Moxley down with a dive shortly after. Takeshita then sends Moxley through the edge of the announce desk.
Moxley then gets back in the ring at 9-count, but Takeshita gets a two count with a frogsplash. Both men then battle it out and Moxley hits Takeshita with a cutter. After a series of moves, Moxley hits Takeshita with a DDT but he puts his foot on the ropes for a break. Moxley then falls down. Takeshita then gets a two count after a knee strike. Takeshita then puts his knee pads down and hits another knee strike. Takeshita then hits the Raging Fire on Moxley for the win.

After the match, Doc Samson checks in on Moxley as Takeshita stands in the ring and the other Death Riders members come out to regroup with Moxley. Takeshita and the Death Riders then have a stare-down as the show comes to a close.
