Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, airing March 1, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California. AEW Collision Results (3/1/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with promos from TNT Champion Daniel Garcia, FTR, The Undisputed Kingdom, Bandido, Powerhouse Hobbs and Julia Hart as they are hyping up their respective matches later tonight. AEW Continental Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada then makes his way out of his locker room and he has a stare-down with Brody King.

Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the night.

Tag Team Match: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly)

The match starts off with Roderick Strong and Cash Wheeler locking up. Strong and Wheeler then exchange armbars. Wheeler then sends Strong down, but he gets back up and both men lock up again. Strong then takes Wheeler down. Strong then gets back up, but Wheeler sends him down to the mat again. Kyle O’Reilly is tagged in as Cash Wheeler tags in Dax Harwood. O’Reilly then kicks Harwood, but Harwood slaps O’Reilly. O’Reilly then sends Harwood down and hits him with his knees. O’Reilly then tags in Strong as they double team Harwood, but Harwood fights back. Wheeler then comes in as FTR sends O’Reilly and Strong to the floor. O’Reilly then takes Harwood down as Strong and O’Reilly double team Wheeler and send him back in the ring.

O’Reilly then goes for a cover on Wheeler, but only gets a two count. O’Reilly then hits Wheeler with knee lifts and Harwood is tagged in. Harwood then sends both O’Reilly and Strong down with big left hand jabs. Harwood then rolls up O’Reilly, but O’Reilly kicks out at two. Strong is then taken down by Harwood as O’Reilly kicks Harwood, but he comes back and hits O’Reilly with a big piledriver to get the three count. The referee then goes to raise the hand of Harwood, but Harwood shows the referee that O’Reilly’s foot was on the bottom rope. We then go to a replay showing that O’Reilly’s leg was on the rope before the three count.

The referee then goes to raise the hand of Harwood, but he pulls his arm away. Harwood then calls for the match to be restarted. The referee then restarts the match. Harwood then sends O’Reilly into the ring post. Wheeler is then tagged in as he hits O’Reilly with big chops and O’Reilly is tied up in the ropes. Harwood then hits O’Reilly from behind as he falls to the mat. Harwood then covers him for only a two count. O’Reilly then fights back and escapes another piledriver attempt. Strong is then tagged into the match. Strong then scores a near fall with a gourdbuster on Harwood. Strong then hits Wheeler and Harwood with Olympic Slams before O’Reilly comes in to hit a double team strike for a near fall.

O’Reilly then places Wheeler in an ankle lock and makes him tap out, but the legal man is Harwood and he rolls O’Reilly up for a near fall. O’Reilly then gets Harwood in an ankle lock, but Harwood rolls him into a forearm shot from Wheeler and rolls him up for another near fall. Both teams then attempts spike piledrivers, but FTR gets one in with the pin broken up by Strong. FTR then fights Strong off and hits the Power plex, but O’Reilly kicks out. FTR then goes for the Shatter Machine, but Strong intervenes with a jumping knee on Harwood. The Undisputed Kingdom then hit the Total Elimination for the win.

After the match, The Undisputed Kingdom offers handshakes but FTR blows them off.

We then get a video package recapping Willow Nightingale taking out Marina Shafir with a Conchairto on Dynamite. Nightingale says she has been through a lot in AEW and has done it all with a smile, but people had forgotten what happened when the smile fades. Nightingale then says she was the Babe With The Power and she wasn’t afraid to use it.

Wheeler Yuta then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Willie Mack is already in the ring.

Singles Match: The Death Riders’ AEW World Trios Champion Wheeler Yuta vs. Willie Mack

The match starts off with Wheeler Yuta going after Willie Mack and chopping him. Mack then sends Yuta to the corner, but Yuta comes back and rakes the eyes of Mack and sends him down head first. Yuta then grabs right leg of Mack and has him in a Boston Crab like hold. Mack then manages to crawl to the ropes to break the hold. Yuta then chokes out Mack with his shin. Mack is up as Yuta goes for a right hand, but Mack blocks it and chops Yuta, who comes back and hits Mack with a German suplex. Yuta then goes to the top as Mack goes up, but Yuta sends Mack down. Mack then hits Yuta with a lariat and as Mack gets up, he drops Yuta with a knee. Mack then hits Yuta with a big cannonball. Mack then drags Yuta to the center of the ring and covers him for only a two count. Mack then kicks Yuta in the gut. Yuta then comes back with a big high knee on Yuta’s face and covers him for the win.

After the match, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is walking through the crowd with the briefcase. Moxley then enters the ring and hits Willie mack from behind with the case. Moxley is then walking around the ring and he goes to the floor and grabs a mic from the bell table. Yuta is holding the case and Moxley tells Oakland this is none of their business and he has a lesson to teach Yuta about finishing the job. Moxley then looks at Yuta and tells him that he wants to take Mack out and that he doesn’t leave the ring. Yuta then nails Mack directly in the head with the briefcase as Mack is knocked out. Moxley then leaves through the crowd as Yuta is still in the ring clutching the briefcase.

We then get a video package recapping what transpired between Billie Starkz, Mercedes Moné and Momo Watanabe. Moné is then shown walking backstage as Billie Starkz tosses tea on her face and says Momo will win the TBS Title at Revolution.

We then see AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm lying in bed with a neck brace talking about being attacked by Mariah May and their match at Revolution. Storm says it will be a no DQ, no rope breaks, falls count anywhere match.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Clark Connors follows.

Singles Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Clark Connors

The match starts off with Swerve Strickland side stepping Clark Connors and chopping him. Connors then goes down as Strickland grabs him and hits him with a big knee to the back of his head. Connors is up and both men lock up. Connors then runs the ropes and takes down Strickland with a shoulder tackle. Connors then stomps on Swerve, who is down in the corner. Connors then grabs Strickland and drags his face across the ropes. Connors then chops Strickland, who is fired up and chops Connors. Both men then exchange chops. Connors then hits a big slap on Strickland, who comes back with a big back breaker on Connors and then snaps his arm, sending him to the floor.

Strickland then has Connors’ left arm locked up. Connors then fights back with elbow shots on Strickland. Connors then break out of the hold and sends Strickland to the mat. Connors then powerslams Strickland and both men are down. Connors then charges at Strickland as he gets his legs up. Strickland then picks Connors up and puts him on the top rope. Strickland then grabs Connors and hits him with a belly to back from the top. Strickland then covers Connors for only a two count.

Strickland then grabs Connors and goes for a full nelson, but Connors fights out of it. Connors then headbutts Strickland and hits him with a German Suplex. Strickland then recovers and hits Connors with a flatliner and a spear. Both men are down and Connors covers Strickland for a two count. Connors then rolls up Strickland, who kicks out at two. Connors then goes for a rip cord, but Strickland comes back with a house call on Connors and pins him for the win.

After the match, Strickland talks directly to the camera and says he is taking Ricochet down at Revolution.

We then get a video from after Dynamite with The Outrunners catching up with The Hurt Syndicate. MVP informs them that even though they beat a distracted Murder Machines, MVP was a man of his word. MVP then grants The Outrunners a title shot and tells them to get their affairs in order. The Outrunners are pleased, saying they had worked their entire rookie year for this shot.

We then see Harley Cameron at the announce desk with commentary seeming confused as to why as she wasn’t scheduled for an interview. After showing highlights of her win on Dynamite, Cameron says she is there to workshop names for her finishing move. Cameron then ends up on calling it “Her Finishing Move.” Camera then calls Tony Schiavone a genius and tells everyone to Feel The Wrath.

We then head to the back, where Big Boom! A.J. and Big Justice are with Alicia Atout before they are immediately interrupted by Johnny TV. TV saw them disrespect MxM Collection some time back, so he challenged A.J. to find two partners for a Trios Match at Revolution. TV then clarifies that Big Justice nor a cookie will count.

The Infantry and Lee Moriarty then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and their opponents are already in the ring.

Trios Match: Lee Moriarty and The Infantry (“Captain” Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo) vs. Dave Dutra, Nick Ruiz and Vinnie Massaro

The match starts off with The Infantry taking out all the three guys with one of them being left in the ring. Lee then hits a flatliner on one of them for the win.

Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, while The Infantry and Shane Taylor stand there and Cole walks right by them. TNT Champion Daniel Garcia then makes his way down to the ring next.

AEW TNT Championship Match: Daniel Garcia (c) vs. The Undisputed Kingdom’s Adam Cole

The match starts off with both men locking up. Cole then grabs the arm of Garcia, who then breaks out of the hold. Cole then grabs Garcia from behind and takes down Garcia. Both men then walk around the ring and attempt to lock up, but Cole grabs the arm of Garcia as he reverses it and sends Cole down and attempts a pin, but Garcia kicks out at one. Garcia then dances at Cole. Both men then shake hands and run the ropes. Garcia then hits Cole with a swinging neck breaker. Garcia then has Cole in the corner and punches him, but Cole fights out of it and kicks Garcia and then hits him with a backstabber.

Cole then covers Garcia for just a one count. Cole then hits Garcia with a neck breaker and covers Garcia for only a two count. Cole then snap suplexes Garcia and covers him for only a two count. Cole then puts Garcia in a head lock. Garcia is up and he fights out of the hold. Cole then kicks Garcia in the back of the head. Garcia then grabs the ropes and hits Cole with a dragon screw leg whip. Cole then goes to the floor and sets up a chair by the barricade. Garcia then runs at Cole and hits a big boot on his face.

Cole then has Garcia up, but he comes back with a chop. Cole then hits a neck breaker on Garcia and covers him, but Garcia kicks out at two. Cole then picks up Garcia, but he counters it. Cole then comes back and drops Garcia with another neck breaker and covers him for a two count. Cole is up on the top and he goes for a Panama Sunrise, but Garcia leaps up as Cole hits Garcia in the back. Garcia then headbutts Cole and then superplexes him off the top. Garcia then holds on and piledrives Cole. Garcia then covers Cole, but Cole kicks out at two. Cole then rolls up Garcia for only a two count. Cole then kicks Garcia and then hits him with a Panama Sunrise, but Garcia kicks out at two.

Cole then drops his knee pad and charges at Garcia, but misses. Garcia then sends Cole to the floor. Garcia then runs at Cole and Cole kicks him. Cole then rolls Garcia in the ring and covers him for a two count. Cole is up on the second rope. Cole then goes for a kick with the left leg that had the surgery. Garcia then catches it and applies an ankle lock as Cole fights to get to the rope. Cole then makes it to break the hold. Garcia then pounds on Cole in frustration. Cole is on the apron and Garcia picks up Cole and piledrives him on the apron. Cole then hits the floor as the referee starts the ten count. Cole then makes it back in at nine. Both men then go face to face and exchanging shots. It is announced that five minutes are remaining. The Infantry and Lee Moriarty then run in and stomp on Cole and Garcia to end the match.

The AEW TNT Championship Match ends in a no contest!

After the match, Daddy Magic gets up from the commentary desk as Shane Taylor hits him from behind. Taylor then enters the ring and Cole is taken out. Moriarty then puts Garcia in a choke hold to end the segment.

We then get a video package hyping up The Opps.

We then head to the back, where Big Boom! A.J. and Big Justice find Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe to team with them at Revolution to take on MxM Collection and Johnny TV.

Julia Hart then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Queen Aminata follows.

Singles Match: Hounds Of Hell’s Julia Hart vs. Queen Aminata

The match starts off with Julia Hart putting Queen Aminata in a headlock. Aminata then reverses it and applies a headlock on Hart. Hart then breaks out of the hold and both women lock up. Hart then runs the ropes and Aminata catches her, but Hart takes Aminata down and hits her with a running elbow. Hart then grabs Aminata and applies a headlock. Aminata then breaks the hold and grabs the left leg of Hart and slams it on the mat.

Hart then rolls up Aminata for only a two count. Both women then exchange strikes. Aminata then staggers as Hart rolls her up for only a two count. Hart then charges at Aminata and hits her with a double ax handle. Hart then covers Aminata for only a two count. Hart then grabs Aminata’s left arm and locks in the Hartless in the center of the ring. Aminata then rolls Hart up for only a two count. Hart is up on the top rope and comes down on her feet as Aminata rolls out of the way. Aminata then hits a big headbutt on Hart and then runs the ropes. Aminata then kicks Hart and covers her for the win.

After the match, Brody King comes in to check on Hart. Kazuchika Okada then comes in from behind and hits King in the back of his head with the Continental Championship.

We then get a video package recapping the International Championship Match on Dynamite.

Kenny Omega then cuts a promo. Omega says he has heard long enough about the fact that Konosuke Takeshita defeated him twice in one week. Omega then says it’s gotten on his nerves. Omega then says this match is about the International Championship and he wants to prove that Takeshita can’t beat him three times. Omega then says his focus isn’t on revenge, it’s on the title and he’s going to take it at Revolution.

The Learning Tree then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night. Bandido and Powerhouse Hobbs then follow.

Tag Team Match: Powerhouse Hobbs and Bandido vs. The Learning Tree (“The Red Wood” Big Bill and “The Bad Apple” Bryan Keith)

The match starts off with Powerhouse Hobbs and Big Bill. Bill tags in Keith, who walks to Hobbs and gets in his face. Keith then kicks Hobbs, but it has no effect on him. Hobbs then sends Keith to the mat and then picks him and holds him up. Bandido then comes in and holds up Keith as Hobbs grabs Keith and drops him. Bandido is tagged in and Bill is tagged in as well. Bandido then kicks Bill and runs the ropes. Bill then goes for a chokeslam, but Bandido gets out of it. Bill then calls for the five paces and charges at Bandido, but Bandido leaps over the ropes. Keith then kicks Bandido and sends him to the floor. Bill then runs and kicks Hobbs to send him to the floor.

Bill is then tagged as Keith suplexes Bandido. Bill then picks up Bandido for a powerslam, but Bandido fights out of it. Bill then runs at Bandido, who tries to tag in Hobbs but as Keith is tagged in, he stomps Bandido. Bandido then tags in Hobbs and sends Keith into Bill. Hobbs then clotheslines Bill and Keith. Bill is then sent to the floor by Hobbs. Keith is up on the top rope as Hobbs leaps up and hits Keith with a twisting slam. Hobbs then covers Keith, but Bill breaks up the hold.

Bandido is then tagged in. Bill then goes to chokeslam Bandido, but Hobbs hits Bill with a shoulder tackle and takes him out of the ring. Bandido and Keith then double drop kick each other and they both roll to the floor. Bandido then makes it back on the apron as Hobbs sends Bill to the floor. Bandido is up on the shoulder of Hobbs and hits Bill with a moonsault on the floor. Keith then hits Hobbs and tries to pin him, but Hobbs kicks out and kicks Keith. Hobbs then hits Keith with a big sidewalk slam and covers him for the win.

After the match, Powerhouse Hobbs and Bandido celebrate their win and the show comes to a close.
