Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, airing July 31, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. The show sees Sons of Texas’ AEW TNT Champion “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes defend his title against Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher in a Chicago Street Fight. The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us. Schiavone and McGuinness talk about last night’s World Title Match. Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir then make their way to ringside as Yuta takes out a security guard.
Moxley then enters the ring and he talks about how 8 months ago how he put Darby Allin in the hospital. Moxley then says since Allin did not get himself killed on Mt. Everest he has to deal with him. Moxley then talks about how Allin hides in the balcony and how he needs to show himself. Allin is then shown standing at the top level of the venue as we get a Darby chant. Moxley then tells Allin to get down and get in the ring. Allin then leaves and Moxley drops the mic as The Death Riders leave through the crowd to go after Allin.
We then go back to commentary as they recap the AEW World Title Match that took place on Dynamite between Hangman Page and Jon Moxley.
We then see the bracket for the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament.
Bandido and Brody King then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and the Gates of Agony follow.
The match starts off with Bandido and Bishop Kaun and Kaun takes Bandido down. Both men then run the ropes as Kaun chops Bandido down to the mat. Bandido then takes Kaun down. Liona is then tagged in. Bandido then runs the ropes as he takes Liona down with a tilt-a-whirl. King is then tagged in. Both men then attempt to take each other down. Both men then run the ropes as King chops Liona. As Liona runs the ropes, King sends him to the floor. He then comes back in as Bandido is tagged back in. Bandido and King then double team Liona after sending Kaun to the floor. King then picks up Bandido and slams him on Liona, then covers him, but Liona kicks out at just one. Kaun is up and he pulls King to the floor, then slams him on the floor. Liona then slams Bandido down to the floor.
Liona and King then tag in. King then stacks The Gates Of Agony on top of one another in the corner and hits a splash on them, then tags in Bandido. Bandido and King then hit double tope suicidas on The Gates Of Agony on the outside of the ring and King places Liona on a chair as Bandido brawls with Kaun. King then hits a crossbody on Liona and Bandido flies to send himself and Kaun crashing into the barricade.
Bandido then climbs to the top rope and hits a splash on Liona, then goes for a pin but Kaun breaks the fall. The Gates Of Agony then send Bandido into the mat face first and Kaun pins him, but King breaks the fall. King then hits a Death Valley Driver on Liona on the ring apron, then drags Kaun up to the top rope and hits a superplex on him. Bandido then hits an assisted 450 Splash on Kaun with King’s help for the win.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Don Callis and Lance Archer. Callis says all the preparation for his TNT Title happens after the match. Callis then says they will have all the power and money. Shane Taylor then shows up and tells Callis he owes him money. As Taylor gets in Callis’ face, Archer steps in. Callis then says he sees Sky Flight as a problem for the Don Callis Family as he tells Taylor if he takes care of them, they can talk a little more business.
Schiavone and McGuinness then talk about the confrontation between Mark Briscoe and MJF and they introduce us to a video package, highlighting next week’s match with MJF vs. Mark Briscoe on Dynamite.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong. Nair asks O’Reilly if he is still in the Conglomeration. O’Reilly says they are a lifestyle. Strong then calls O’Reilly’s name and says he came back to help his best friend, then he lost him, then he got him back, then he lost him. O’Reilly then says the Conglomeration are a fun group of misfits and they show up. Nightingale then says she is going to squash Thekla like a bug. O’Reilly then says they will spend that money they won last week to bond some more. They then leave.
Schiavone then says something is going on backstage. We then see The Death Riders looking for Darby Allin as Yuta and Shafir go into another room. Allin then shows up from behind and grabs Moxley, then wraps a towel around his face.
Kris Statlander then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lena Kross is already waiting inside.
The match starts off with Statlander hitting a delayed vertical suplex on Kross. Kross then hits a pump kick and a German suplex on Statlander, but Statlander runs over Kross with a clothesline and follows it up with a knee strike to the side of her face. Statlander then gets Kross in an Electric Chair position and sends her crashing into the mat face first, then cinches in a neck submission on her and Kross quickly taps out.

After the match, Willow Nightingale’s music his and she makes her way out briefly looking at the passing Statlander. Triangle Of Madness then follow and the next match of the night is under way.
The match starts off with both women circling around as Nightingale grabs Thekla from behind. Hart and Blue then hop on the apron. This then allows Thekla to kick Nightingale, but she recovers and does a cartwheel, then hits Thekla and covers for only a one count. Both women then face off in the ring. Thekla then hits Nightingale with an elbow shot, but Nightingale comes back with a big shoulder tackle, sending Thekla down. Nightingale then covers Thekla, but Thekla kicks out at two. Nightingale. then picks up Thekla, but Thekla escapes. Nightingale then picks up Thekla again and drops her. Nightingale then hits Thekla with a crossbody and covers Thekla for just a two count. Thekla then runs the ropes and is met with a big pounce by Nightingale. Thekla then goes to the floor. Thekla then sends Nightingale shoulder first into the steel steps.
Nightingale then runs over Thekla with a clothesline and follows it up with a Hip Attack on her in the corner. Thekla then responds with a boot on Nightingale’s face and charges at her on the apron, but Nightingale nails Thekla with a clothesline and gets her up on her shoulders. Nightingale then hits Thekla with a Death Valley Driver and goes for a pin, but Thekla kicks out.
Nightingale then gets Thekla back up on her shoulders and climbs to the middle rope and both women teeter on the ropes. Blue and Hart then distract Nightingale, opening the door for Thekla to hit a crossbody off the top rope. Nightingale then responds with a cannonball on Thekla in the corner, then nail Hart and Blue on the apron. Thekla then responds with a spear on Nightingale and follows it up with a Curb Stomp for the win.

After the match, Triangle Of Madness beat Nightingale down in the ring. Hart, Blue and Thekla then take turns delivering some right hands on Nightingale, with Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne joining in. Queen Aminata, Anna Jay and Tay Melo then come to Nightingale’s aid with a chair, 2×4 piece of wood and a lead pipe in hand respectively, with Kyle O’Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii and Hologram making their way down to the ring to check on Nightingale as well.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Billy Gunn. Anthony Bowens then shows up and says Billy has not answered his texts or calls. Bowens then tells Billy he did everything he was taught by him. Bowens then tells Billy he was not there for him. Billy then tells Bowens he doesn’t know who he is anymore and when he figures it out, he will be at home. Bowens then call Billy a coward and the segment ends.
We then see what happened earlier today with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana outside as they talk about how he will continue to set Te Young Bucks right even though they have no power. Swerve says Okada’s Unified Championship looks really good and at Forbidden Door he and Okada will have a conversation.
We then head to the back, where we see Don Callis and Kazuchika Okada. Callis says Okada is the best big match wrestler in the world. Callis then calls Prince Nana a degenerate manager. Callis then says Strickland takes advice from a coffee dancing degenerate. Callis then says Okada has an answer for him. Okada then says they don’t need to talk at Forbidden Door, then will just fight and the match is made official.
FTR then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Big Stoke and Bang Bang Gang follow.
The match starts off with Juice Robinson and Cash Wheeler. Harwood is then tagged in as Robinson runs the ropes and he sends Harwood down. Robinson then covers Harwood for only a two count. Austin Gunn is then tagged in. Harwood and Gunn then lock up. Harwood then hits a shoulder block on Gunn as he goes down. Robinson is then tagged in. Harwood has Robinson in the corner and chops him. Robinson then fires back and sends Harwood down. Robinson then grabs the head of Harwood and slams his head on the top and second turnbuckles. Wheeler is then tagged in. He chops Gunn to the corner. Gunn then fires back with chops on Wheeler. Gunn then tags in Robinson. Both men then lock up. Wheeler then sends Robinson to the corner, tagging in Harwood. Gunn then comes in as the Bang Bang Gang send FTR to the floor.
Harwood then tags in and he wears Austin down with a submission hold as he holds onto Wheeler for extra leverage. The referee then catches Harwood and Wheeler, but Robinson makes the tag in. The referee then doesn’t see it, allowing FTR to deliver some right hands on Austin as the referee keeps Robinson out of the ring. Harwood then sends Austin out of the ring through the middle rope, but Robinson tags in and delivers some right hands on Harwood. He then follows it up with a spinebuster and looks to roll up Harwood. Harwood then sits down into the pin and Hathaway extends his crutch to him for assistance, but the referee catches them and stops his count.
FTR then look to double team on Robinson, but Austin trips Harwood on the ropes and Robinson sends Wheeler crashing out of the ring. Austin then hits a superplex on Harwood and Robinson hits a Frog Splash. He then goes for a pin, but Wheeler looks to break the fall with a splash. Robinson then moves out of the way and Wheeler ends up hitting Harwood. Robinson then rolls up Harwood, but Harwood kicks out at the last second. Robinson then hits a DDT on Harwood and goes for a pin, but Harwood kicks out. Austin then tags back in and Harwood sets up for Shatter Machine with Wheeler, but Robinson takes out Wheeler. Austin then rolls up Harwood grabbing his trunks, but Hathaway distracts the referee. Wheeler then strikes Austin, opening the door for Harwood to pin him for the win.

We then get a Technique by Taz segment, looking at the finisher (O-Face) of the ROH Women’s World Champion Athena.
We then get a backstage vignette of Athena, where she says how it was the most beautiful thing seeing Toni Storm take an O-Face and not get up. Athena says she will sign her title match contract at the O2 Arena in London, where she can defeat Toni Storm as Athena Elite Wrestling takes over. Athena then says for Toni to keep the title nice and toasty and warm and that no one can stop her.
Max Caster is in the ring now and he grabs a mic. Caster says Chicago you are looking at the best wrestler alive and like you. Caster then says he has a lot of bad memories in Chicago, but luckily for the Maxamaniacs in Chicago he is there to cheer them up and they get to chant his name. Caster then gets a chant going ang says guys that is not what I wanted. Caster then says it’s clear that no one can hang with me there like Anthony Bowens. Caster then says the fans get worse every week just like Anthony Bowens. Caster then says he knows it’s not him and he is not boring them. Caster then says he is not a bland, crybaby b***h like Anthony Bowens, but this is the Platinum Five Open Challenge so let’s put five on the clock and see who can survive with the best wrestler alive. RUSH then answers the call he and makes his way down to the ring.
The match starts off with Max Caster sliding out of the ring to run down the time. He then takes a lap around the ring to continue running down the time on the clock, but RUSH intercepts him with a forearm strike. RUSH then sends him crashing into several of the barricades, then hits another forearm and delivers a couple of knee strikes on him.
The clock then hits two minutes and Caster sends RUSH back in the ring. RUSH then delivers some chops on Caster and hits some stomps on him in the corner, then sets up for the Bull’s Horns. RUSH then stops himself to continue beating down Caster and hits his signature pose in the middle of the ring. RUSH then hits a powerslam on Caster as the clock hits a minute and he delivers some rapid stomps on him in the corner. He then delivers a couple of headbutts on Caster in the corner and sets up for the Bull’s Horns. The clock then runs out before he can hit the move.

After the match, RUSH hits the Bull’s Horns on Caster. Dralistico and The Beast Mortos then join RUSH in the ring and beat down Caster, but security runs down to break things up. La Facción Ingobernable then beat down the security guards, but JetSpeed and AR Fox run down to the ring and brawl with LFI to the back. Caster is down on the mat as the referees check on him. He then raises one arm up as his music hits.
We then get a highlight of Mercedes Moné winning more gold in Poland last weekend.
Shane Taylor Promotions then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Scorpio Sky, Top Flight, Leila Grey and Christopher Daniels follow.
The match starts off with Shane Taylor and Scorpio Sky and Sky delivers some strikes on Taylor. Carlie Bravo and Dante Martin then tag in and Top Flight double teams on Bravo. Shane Taylor Promotions then triple team on Darius Martin.
Dante then takes down Bravo and Shawn Dean. Taylor then tags in and Dante delivers some forearms on him, but Bravo tags back in and immediately tags out to Dean. Dante then hits a knee strike on Dean, but Sky tags back in and Dante flies out of the ring to nail Taylor on the outside. Sky then hits a cutter on Bravo for the win.

Tony Schiavone then says stuff is going on in the back and we see Darby Allin and Jon Moxley at the top of a fire escape. Allin then tries to send Moxley over, but security comes in and breaks it up and they pull Allin off.
Kyle Fletcher and Don Callis then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Dustin Rhodes follows.
The match starts off with Fletcher getting in the face of Dustin, who then drops him with a couple of closed fists. The action then goes to the floor. Fletcher then grabs a kendo stick. Dustin then hits Fletcher in the mid-section, then hits Fletcher with the stick. Fletcher then fights back and pulls out the steel steps. Fletcher then sends the face of Dustin on the top of the steel steps with a big DDT.
Fletcher then pulls out a table. Fletcher then nails Dustin with big right hands. Dustin is bleeding from the head as he sits against a table. Fletcher then runs the ropes and leaps over, but Dustin moves as Fletcher crashes through the table. Dustin then pulls out a cowbell and cracks the forehead of Fletcher. Dustin then covers Fletcher, but he kicks out at two. Fletcher is busted open as both men are on the apron. Dustin then goes for a bulldog off the apron, but Fletcher reverses it and sends Dustin crashing into a table. Dustin then holds his left leg as the referee checks on him.
Fletcher then charges at Rhodes. Rhodes then hits a Canadian Destroyer on Fletcher and goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out. Rhodes then hits a couple of open palm strikes on Fletcher, then grabs a chair from under the ring and looks to hit Fletcher with it. Fletcher then grabs a chair of his own and prevents Rhodes from hitting him with the chair by hitting his chair, but Rhodes hits Fletcher with his chair across his spine twice. Fletcher then sets up the two chairs back-to-back and hits a piledriver on Rhodes on top of the chairs. Fletcher then sets up a table in the ring and Rhodes hits a Canadian Destroyer on Fletcher off the middle rope and through the table. He then goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out.
Rhodes then puts on a glove with thumb tacks sticking out of it, then presses the tack full of gloves into Fletcher’s head. Fletcher then dumps out a bag of tacks in the ring, but Rhodes hits a scoop powerslam on Fletcher on top of the tacks. He then dumps tacks on top of Fletcher’s chest, then low blows him. Callis then hands Fletcher a screw driver and Fletcher hits Rhodes with the screwdriver in his head and jams it into his eye. Callis then holds Rhodes in place and Fletcher stabs Rhodes in the leg with the screwdriver. Fletcher then hits a kick on Rhodes’ midsection, but Rhodes rolls up Fletcher. Fletcher then kicks out, then hits a knee on Rhodes and follows it up with a Brainbuster for the win.

After the match, Fletcher sends Rhodes’ leg bouncing off the ring post and repeatedly hits it with a chair. Medical officials then check on Rhodes as Fletcher celebrates his title win with other members of The Don Callis Family. Rhodes is then wheeled out on a stretcher as the show comes to a close.
