AEW waited until the last minute to beef up tonight’s Collision lineup.

With less than an hour to go before the August 22 episode hits the air, AEW announced two more pieces for the show in Reading, Pennsylvania, including a new trios match involving The Hurt Syndicate and another challenge for Divine Dominion.

The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin have apparently made another deal with Shane Taylor Promotions, and this time they’ll have ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty alongside them for trios action. AEW has not announced who Lashley, Benjamin and Moriarty will face.

AEW also announced that Megan Bayne and Lena Kross will compete in a five-minute AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Eliminator. The Divine Dominion duo is just eight days away from facing the Brawling Birds at AEW All In London, giving them one more chance to make a statement before that match.

Those additions join a Collision lineup that already includes a major women’s title match and two Continental Challenge Cup quarterfinals.

Confirmed for the August 22 episode of AEW Collision:

  • AEW Women’s World Championship: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Maya World
  • AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal: Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagnoli
  • AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal: Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O’Reilly
  • The Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin team with ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty in trios action
  • Megan Bayne and Lena Kross compete in a 5-Minute AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Eliminator

AEW Collision will air live from the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, beginning at 8 PM ET on TNT and HBO Max. With AEW still adding to the show less than an hour before bell time, fans will want to keep an eye out for anything else the company might throw onto the card at the last second.
